I expected an additional Bon Jovi pack based on the naming of the last, will probably be getting that one. Not a big fan of Christmas so that’ll have to do for 2010.

By the way, I would love to see a filter feature in Singstar (dance songs only, or even custom playlists)… we purchased over a hundred fifty songs this year so our collection is getting a bit crowded.

this is a great collection and there are heaps of songs i’ll be getting (lucky we get xmas bonus this week hehe)

great to see bon jovi available worldwide and kol songpack which will be popular, and omg OKLAHOMA!! i know it’s not available in new zealand just yet but i can’t wait til it is! MUSICALS SUCH A GREAT IDEA!! hopefully we can see more of these musical songs!!

i will be getting most of the xmas songs for the sake of it being christmas, and also florence + the machine (great to see her making it onto the singstore!), all american rejects, the clash and the exponents!!!

The update was pretty meh, before I saw the song packs On the other hand, I’m not familiar with Kings of Leon’s other songs than Sex On Fire and Use Somebody. Not sure if I’m going to get the whole pack just for two average-songs

I have a question about the 70s-packs Sweet Home Alabama. Is it the same version as before (cuts down before the last guitar solo), or is this going to be the full version?

I was hoping for more Pop songs… oh well
I ll upgrade all the songs I have with the dance add-on and I might end up buying 1-2 christmas songs(depending on our guests mood!)

I want kings of leons songpack just for use somebody and sex on fire, then i want a couple of the new songs, about 10 new add-ons for dance and guitar plus the songs to go with them since i don’t have most of them yet, then i still want about 8 songs from a few older updates, as well as some guitar/dance add-ons for other songs i already own and don’t own.

This update is quite huge but I’m not interested in anything. I held my breath when I saw the Bon Jovi icon, hoping their single “Everyday” would be there, but no… . I’ve got other things to add :
1) Is there any chance we could get a GLEE songpack or is it a Wii exclusive (on Karaoke Revolution)?
2) Last time you added a duet from Tom Jones’s “Reload” album : are there other songs from this album on their way to the Singstore ? (such as the duets with Stereophonics & The Cardigans)
3) Here a few songs that would be perfect on the Singstore :
. Amercia : A horse with no name
. Tom Jones : Motherless child
. Linda Perry : Fill me up + Freeway
. Jefferson Airplane : White rabbit
. Supertramp : The logical song
. Paul Mc Cartney & the Wings : Live and let die

Finally we we’ll have the same thing as Europeans! that’s what i was waiting for!
Escept i only will have a problem with this.
So, is there a way you can enable to buy only the add-ons without the songs? Because, as i told you other times, i create my UK account to buy singstar songs. So if now the American accounts will have the same, if i want to buy a dance or a guitar add on, it will make me buy the song again, or bought it on the UK account, but i don’t want to add more funds to the UK account anymore, with this great news!. So is there a was in the future you can let people only buy the add on for songs that are already on the HDD?.

And by the way! thanks a lot for the Travis – Sing guitar add on! i will buy it this week! very excited!

Really great update, loving new Bon Jovi pack. Also great news American store is getting more songs, because my credit card works there, but not in European store, so I have to get PSN card, so it is kind of little hustle So that is really great news for me.

Also hoping we might see next year something from Belinda Carlisle. Any of these songs would be great.

Is there going to be any way we can use singstar dance with previous singstar discs ABBA (PS3) or any of the PS2 singstar games?

Hi Nina,

I am a happy Singstar User since the start of the series and my girlfriend and myself are buying many songs from the store.

However there is one feature, we both are missing ever since:

We would like to sort “all songs” sorted by the upload to the Singstore date. As we are not able to track *every* Update in the store, we only have the chance to look through all songs, which can be annoying.

If we could sort the list with the newest song first, we could look through the list of all new songs since e.g. the last 2 month and don’t miss them.

If someone else would like such a feature, please reply.

I’m really suprised The Damned showed up on the store. This is awesome! Needs more The Damned!

This is only the second ever comment I’ve made on this blog, and the first was a request for Wanted: Dead or Alive. It may be in the form of a songpack with a few other songs I didn’t want, but I bought it anyway because I recognise that you do a difficult job under difficult circumstances and this was an amazing example of me wanted something very badly and it being delivered. So merry christmas!

I’d love to see some guitar add-ons for the Suede songs and some more Blur songs, is that a possibility for the future?

I’d also love to see some Catatonia stuff on Singstar and Metric (Canadian band who have a song on Rock Band 3) in general, either just singing or even better with guitar too but I don’t know how likely that is to happen with either of them lol

Tha alternative 80s pack, Morrisey and The Clash made me think that the last last update wasn’t a miracle… This update was even better! Seeing this, I can really say that Singstar is for everyone (except metal fans, but I would thank if some headbanging anthems would be released).

I’m sure this has been asked many times, but why the absence of Musical numbers? Is there a game on it’s way?

I realise there would always be a question of which cast version to use but I’m sure if you went for the most recognized popular ones it would be ok…

Just think what fun having stuff from Moulin Rouge, Cabaret, West Side Story, Chicago, Hairspary, Les Mis., Singing In the Rain, Wizard of Oz, Grease…perhaps even Dr Horrible’s Sing-along blog (if you’ve heard of it)

Plenty of gold there…!

My PS3 died today and I ll get a new one, but singstar is going to be a problem I called customer care and they told me to sent an e-mail about reseting the account, but I know It takes some time… is there a way you can make a miracle and speed things up If I give you my sign in ID?(as you can see my online id)

If it wasnt holiday season I would waut, but with all the parties and people coming over i got a bit depressed and I dont even know If you ll see this to get a reply…

Does anyone have an update on the January 5 upadate? It’s January 6th. Did you decide to change the update schedule in 2011? Really looking forward to new content. Thanks. PS – Thanks beyond words for finally making more of the downloads available to USA Singstar players – if you continue to do this you will make good money and you won’t regret it.
