ITV Player And 4oD Are Now Available On PS3

Fantastic features just a pity the rudy confirmation of age for parental control doesn’t work and just dumps you back out to the previous screen..

Agree Demand 5 would be a good addition

please help! i only have bbc i player and itv and i do have a uk account why dont i have 4od player?

Great stuff, but I’m having a problem with 4OD.

I want to watch Frankie Boyle, but obviously due to the offensive nature, I need to confirm my age. So the pop up box appears but as soon as I press a direction on the control the screen vanishes and exits back to the shows menu. Anyone got a solution? Thanks.

I live in Wales and I’ve just updated to 3.55 and I both the 4oD and iTV Player icons are not in the TV section. BBC iPlayer is fine, but for some reason I can’t get access to 4oD or iTV Player … Wales is still in the UK the last time I checked =/

Is this a known issue? I hope it can be fixed.

Hi can anyone help evrytime i try to watch any program on itv or 4od ps3 connection gets cut off and gives me a dns error code any help would be greatly appreciated

As mentioned in another comment the 4oD selection is really small (much smaller than the selection on youtube/4od)

Is it that a lot of the old shows are still being converted, or does channel 4 not plan on giving ps3 owners access to the same previous selection, just new shows?

Hoping this gets fixed otherwise I’ll still have to use my pc to view a lot of stuff.

the itv player tells me to change the resolution but i tried all the available ones and it wont work please help

just got brand new ps3 today 320gb updated it and no tv column on my XMB it isnt a 04 its an 03 any feed back would be great thanks.

These are awful, there a crappier version of there online services (most amazing thing about them)

4oD doesn’t work videos don’t stream.

ITV player wants a postcode so i give it a post code which it doesn’t like so i keep giving it a post code until it likes one to get a stream at a level i would expect from a pre ISDN internet.

the ps3 browser needs a severe upgrade to give these the room they need to upgrade to a useable standard along with a major quality upgrade nead standard tv would be nice not the near obscure fuzzy that is current

@rose, it sorted itself out after a while. im 100% uk. launch 60gb, uk account… must just be old age, poor old girl, she has served me well.

I’m gonna use 4oD, just for Misfits really.

I have also noticed that the content is very limited, and the answer to the last person who questioned this was along the lines of ‘wait until the programs are aired’…

The problem is, I was looking for old programs I have ust been watching on youtube, that arent showing up on my ps3′s 4OD… will all old content be made available on ps3s??

i have not signed in over december until now and have nt recieved the update for these players how can i get them???? please help

I am having the same problem as two other posters above.
Every time I get to an advert break the screen goes black and it all seems stuck. I get going again by clearing the cache, start at the beginning (adverts) wait for the program to start then skip to just before the advert crash. This time it will show the adverts and continue into “part 2″, as soon as the next set of adverts are due it all goes black and freezes up again. I have to repeat the ‘clear the cache’ fix to get it all going again, start the program from the start, watch the adverts until the program begins, skip to just before the 2nd advert break, watch the adverts, watch part 3 and then…. well I guess you can work the rest out.

Don’t believe the lies it is not available.

After trawling though very user unfriendly guff I find that none of this works, very disappointed.
