Second Round Of PlayStation Plus Treats For December

i see that dc universe is a pc port for now, some things are announced as mouse wheel up and down, our this game support upcoming keyboard mouse, but i think its a pc port.

Is this beta worth paying out for a 3 month subscription? I feel like buying something but the actual store update has a distinct lack of anything I want today.

this crappy game is 10 euro in the bin. 29,99 for the non platinum version and € 24,99 for the platinum. (I cant even believe this dull, tedious, boring game went platinum)

Sony.. we smart people will never pay these kind of prices..

The same goes for the huge playstion + content differences.

Never mind. I bought a sub anyways. Figured I should get price reducs on enough things I’d like over next 3 months to cover it.

Just on the installer now. This mean I gotta sit here downloading 15gb and I can’t even play a game or watch a video in the meantime?

That max speed bit clearly is wrong if it’s saying I got max of 10.4Mbps currently. I thought my max was half that.

Oh God, Sky isn’t going to enjoy me downloading the DC Beta. After this, I probably won’t be able to connect to the PSN. I wish I stayed with Virgin >_>

I’ve got ages to go. And I can’t do anything else on the console it seems. I should have done this on a day where I’m out doing stuff and could have left this downloading here at home.

Anyone know if it’s possible to resume it where it left off if I quit now? The disadvantages of the PS3 being my ‘all-in-one’ are quite obvious at times like these. I can’t even watch tv cos I use PlayTV and don’t own a seperate freeview box.

Ok it seems like it can resume. I just quit out of frustration and reloaded to see and it does pick up where it left off. Good. Will turn it off again and enjoy my console for a bit and leave it on overnight downloading the rest.

I’m being asked for the redeem code that can be found on the manual in the game box

The DC Universe Beta is fantastic! Really enjoying it, I’m 100% buying it now so the question is, do I carry on playing the beta or continue playing GT5 knowing that the full game is out soon.

This just seems like a really bad conversion port from PC, it shows up with instructions like “mouse down” “pg up / pg down” when pressing select.

What with the game lagging then stuttering then freezing completely, its not even worth me wasting my time with this.

Shame… it might have been interesting.

After testing this game for a couple of hours with one of my friends I can clearly see that this game is meant for the PC. The port isn’t exactly bad, but the game itself in all it’s complexity is made for the PC and not a console. I enjoyed playing the game, but it just didn’t feel as a MMO since I had troubles interacting with other players and I do not have the patience to scroll through a menu like this one in a MMO.

Biggest issues for me are that menu screens are completely unreadable (a HD telly would help maybe), combat is dull and repetative and the whole feel of the game is way too nerdy for my likings.

As few have already commentated: It’s a PC game.
