Just two working days left until I shove my feet in front of the fire for a fortnight. A well-earned rest is within kissing distance and I hope that you’re all looking forward to Christmas as much as I am. That’s not to say the blog is signing off though – we’ll be going at full steam until Wednesday, when we kick off a special programme of content to keep you entertained between screenings of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. I know this is irrelivant but is LBP2 compatible with move from release, not just sackboys prehistoric moves, and is it compatible for online play at release?

Hopefully this time next week I’ll be sitting back and playing Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, The Sims 3, Enslaved, The Sly Collection and the Prince of Persia Trilogy. Along with a new PS3 Surround Sound Bar too of course

They said the PS3 will get it a bit later. I will say mid-January as there is a two month gap between part 1 and part 2.

A bit of a mixed feeling week:
first the bad thinks:
- A New Website Launches On PS3 (stupid, not for 720HD users…)
- ITV Player And 4oD Are Now Available On PS3 ( should be at blog.uk.playstation.com or instead give us a new, up-to-date, webkit based, webbbrowser with a descent amount of video plugins so everyone can watch their shows ).
Then all the good things

I was going for the pre-order spree too.
One Dutch webshop told me they would get the plasma-gun but I’m almost sure they are mistaken (obviously they can’t guarantee, they say its the info they get from their reseller etc. ). I wish EA would have better PR.

how do you start your own topic on this blog as i want to complain about the lack of great psone and ps2 games being reconditioned in high def for the use of ps3. what rthey did with sonic and god of war was awesome and i look forward to ico. i also look forward to L.A Noire, it looks like it will be in a class of its own.

you can complain about the lack of psone and ps2 games but did you bought a ps3 to play psone games?
if you complain about the high prizes on psnstore i can agree, but do you really want to play old games? seriously? they have to stop the whole psone games and ps2 games from psnstore, and they need to release some good exclusive titles for ps3.
LA Noire will be great but we have to wait till 2011

Not tried ‘Space Invaders Extreme’ yet. Looks cool. If it ever came out on PSN i would buy it. Looking forward to the other Namco games coming soon on PSN + 1 of the best ‘Space Invaders’ i have ever played is ‘Return of the Invaders’ It’s on ‘Taito Legends 1′ on the PS2
It put me in a erm Trance 
I’m a MASSIVE old-skool fan. And hopefully more old-skool games will be hitting PSN next year;)
