…and a happy New Year. We do, I’m not lying! 2010 has been so fantastic for all of us at VidZone with over 3.5 million users, EMI videos, TV channels, loads more exclusives and features to name just a few things that have kept us frantically busy over the course of the year. Of course, and I am getting soppy now, this would not be possible without you guys watching, loving, tweeting, blogging and dancing manically along with us in front of the VidZone service. So thank you for enabling VidZone to be a continued success and may it go from strength to strength in 2011 and beyond.
Now to business…
Firstly, we have a Christmas present in the shape of an exclusive Tinie Tempah Behind The Scenes Exclusive from his new video ‘Invincible’ featuring Kelly Rowland. See, I bet you never had a Tinie Tempah shaped Christmas present, have you? You have? Is that a lie?
Secondly I have a new feature for the new year that I’m gonna test before the new year just in case you all hate it. It’s called…

Artist Of The Week – 30 Seconds To Mars
We have a game in the office to see who can run to the shop and get a Mars bar and bring it back in less than 30 seconds. NEXT WEEK
Artist of the Year – Eminem
One of this year’s biggest comebacks, Eminem released ‘No Love,’ ‘Not Afraid’ and ‘Love The Way You Lie,’ featuring this year’s biggest female, Rihanna. So we are presenting him with the coveted “VidZone Artist of The Year” award. Remember, never wrong*

Hi Ben.
I was just wondering if you guys could update the VidZone XMB “wallpaper” that appears when you select the VidZone icon to a full screen image, like the Store, Home, Photo Gallery and Life with PlayStation have done recently?
Just for the sake of consistency, so VidZone won’t look so out of place on the XMB.
Anyhow, this is still my favourite app on PS3! Thanks!

When Poland>>>>>>>>>>>>>>???????? ?????

I see it is pointless to asking “When Poland ?” Last year you ask us (Polish PSN users) for a little more patience because you have plans for few next months. And what changed since then ? Nothing ! You can take this VidZone and put it up your ***, I have YouTube ! Thank you very much for VidZone …
Posted on 22 December, 2010 at 12:31 pm by Ben Creasey
Hey JezOOs
It’s not pointless, I can’t tell you if or when VidZone Poland will happen, It’s out of our hands, lots of lawyers and business decisions have to be made to go into moving into a new country, as well as us working a way of paying for the service so you don’t have to. Poland is definitely a territory we would love to be in and one that makes sense on paper but there are always many hurdles to overcome.
Fingers crossed 2011 will be the time for NOW POLAND!!!

Lmao. every month, just like Firstplay, the Comments get less and less as more and more people lose faith in what coUld have been an iNcredibly nice app. InsTead it’s littered with garbage artists and wannabe MTV ‘channels’.
Well done, guys. VERY well done.
Merry XmaS.

Hi o-MrSpoz-0
I’m sorry you are at all dismayed by our service, we try our hardest to keep everyone happy and have always listened to our users very carefully as to what they would like. We aim to bring every music video in the world onto the service as well as bringing the service to as many countries as possible. We try to appeal to all genres and tastes of music and would love to hear what you think is missing. Nothing we have missing is due to neglect of our users tastes, but because of complicated multi territory music video licensing and finding revenue through advertising, sometimes it is just not possible to license every video in every country and promote every genre of music (although that is our ultimate dream). We don’t want to be seen as an MTV or any single TV channel, we want to be seen as your destination for all your music video needs, whatever your taste is, but with the added bonus of being totally interactive… We think we have a great service but we know we can always improve and with your help we can. Please email Playstation@vidzone.tv with all your suggestions and requests and we will try our hardest to get you what you want.
It pains me personally to hear from a unhappy user, don’t give up on us!

Hey Vidzone peeps. I think the service is wonderful, except it seems a little slow to connect here in Australia, even on low quality, is there a way to speed it up a little? (I’m on 16Mb cable so it should be pretty snappy)
Hope y’all had a great Christmas and enjoy a prosperous new year
