Hi guys, not long till Christmas now so hopefully you are at home and enjoying yourself, or at least winding down at work.
Here’s a final thank you for supporting PlayStation Plus before we start another year.
From today, you will see the first of many brand new minis coming to Plus. A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks is the first of a whole load of new minis that are coming to Plus in the coming year. During the year, at least one of the two minis each month will be brand new to PSN and two weeks early for you guys. So you are the first to play them!
A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks is an extra game for you this month though and is launching in Plus later today, at the same time as the rest of the Store. Enjoy!
Next on the list is the NEO GEO classic, brand new to PSN, Samurai Shodown. And you guys are getting it at a 100% discount from day one. This will also stay in the Plus section of the store until the 2nd of February so that any new Plus members in January can get it too.
I’ve been reading that you like day one discounts so here’s another one for you. When the great new PSN title ‘Eat Them’ launches today, Plus members will get an exclusive 20% discount.

Thanks for Metal Slug will buy it, a lot of moaners here kinda depressing.
I’m so far been pleased with PS+, hoping you guys continue to improved it and to the complainers you’ll eventually get it all ! lol.

can people in britian or england stop complaining that we complain to much if we lived in the uk and got same treatment and deals and games and stuff as u guys i know i wouldnt be complaining.. you guys get a hell of a lot more than the US and other countries do.. for starters SCEE head office is London….. so that would stand to reason they favour there own country above others and just want our money and give us crap and all godd stuff goes to the brits and US

Tell me one thing? Why don’t the NEOGEO-games have Trophy support? Not that I’m a hunter, I just thought that Trophies are mandatory in all games…?

Well I subscribed to Plus on day one and to this day I feel it hasb’t really been worth the money. Im not commenting to sound ungrateful or hate on Plus but I think the service isn’t really suited to me so I will not be re subscribing.

I agree with the minis haters, these games are not good on ps3, Psp yes but not everyone likes handheld gaming.

Okay. Seriously now. It said on the main playstation plus page ‘littlebigplanet 100% discount’ So I got a years subscription only to find that it was referring to goddamn DLC for free. I thought seeing as LBP was free when ps plus was first released the offer had been brought back for christmas. Evidently not. I seriously want a refund, this is a joke. I don’t want these 3rd rate mini games, thanks.

just a shame that yesterday my fat 60Gb decided to YLOD on me :’(
oh well i’ll go buy a slim so i can have the PS+ goodness again.
and as a suggestion for next FW update would it be possible to split the automatic updates into categories, for example i’d love to get the game patches with it but would rather not have new FW pumped into the system without my knowing

To be honest I question the minis worth for even mobile gaming, they were sony’s poor attempt to cash in on the successful apple app market. Unfortunately they’re overpriced pap. Why would I whip out my psp and play some galaga clone or yeti sports which was out on mobile phones 5-6 years ago when for 59p I can play ultimate spiderman or resident evil 4. We have payed for a premium service so I’d just like to feel we were getting premium stuff but its rubbish no one really wants to buy. You can defend minis all you want but even the best ones I’ve played iver never gone back to say a third time. I think sony have got the plus thing a little backwards is all.
And people who complain are not ungrateful, they have paid for something and want to see it run fairly. To me if the plus doesn’t give us an experience better than other platforms why are we here. I really want to see this do well because I have a lot of love for my playstation but I don’t think the service will continue to grow with the current level of content. I hope I’m proved wrong.

@ the mini’s haters: I don’t like them either , so i grabbed some in the beginning and leave them from now on for what they are .
But on the other side , I do love the classic games we’ve gor for free like super street fifghter hd for example and most of all : the opportunity to test BETA versions for games.
We should also get discounts on new DLC for new games.
Sure thing that the content we receive pay’s back our subscription , but we don’t get to choose the games we like …
Many times I bought a game and a mounth or two later it’s discounted while I purchased it as a PLus member, that also could be backward reversed to refund those few cases.
Also , please consider to give a discount on DCUO for Plus members –> will attrackt more plus subscribers only for that
