The final stages of the Contraption Challenge require you, the PlayStation Community, to vote for your favourite contraption. To vote, you’ll need to head over to the Official PlayStation Community forums but before you do that you should check out the finalists’ levels in the video below.

Of course, if you’d rather play them in their entirety you can just boot up LittleBigPlanet and give them a try yourself. Check the video for the level names.

Hi everyone! I’m Bill Fryer, the Marketing and PR Coordinator from Creat Studios. I’m sure many of you are very familiar with our much-loved PSN title, Mushroom Wars, and I am very pleased to announce today that fans of Mushroom Wars will soon get the features they’ve been begging for in our newest DLC pack, Mushroom Wars Online! The online add-on will be available for download on 15 December in Europe.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Mushroom Wars is a fast-paced and accessible RTS, with a quaint, anime-inspired visual style in which you send your cute armies into battle, upgrade your mushroom bases, improve your weaponry and fight skirmishes in close-quarter maps.

MushroomWarsOnline04

While the title Mushroom Wars: Online ruins the surprise of the best new feature in this add-on, it certainly won’t ruin your enjoyment as you slay opponents in our 4-person online multiplayer mode. You think that’s awesome? We’ve also thrown in local multiplayer support for up to four players, but that’s not all. Enjoy custom matches against online friends for training and entertainment, or watch other players battle from the sidelines to hone your strategic skills when you need a break. Compare your global rank with others to see how you stack up, and keep track of your personal score history. Record and replay your best matches, and share your victories with friends by uploading gameplay videos online.

For those of you who want to conquer new lands in the mushroom kingdom, we’re releasing a pack of new maps as well. For €0.99/£0.79 you can test out your strategies on new terrain, all true to the original visual style.

Introducing I Must Run!

Countries: , , , ,

The Gamelion team is proud to announce the I Must Run! release date and to share exclusive in-game footage and screenshots. The game will go live worldwide on PS3/PSP minis on 15 December.

If you are new to I Must Run! and you haven’t yet seen a comic teaser, you can catch up at www.imustrun.com. The story is quite simple: a Marine ends up in jail after a street fight in which the city mayor’s son dies. To avenge the death, the Marine’s girlfriend is kidnapped and he is given 24 hours to turn himself in before she is killed. Our aim was to create a short comic novel with a reference to old-school, B movie trailers. The entire movie was developed by one artist over 2 ½ weeks; the artist who created the music and SFX (Szymon ‘Zombie’ Karpierz) also composed the music to our previous PSP minis game, Boom Beats (he composed the music to I Must Run! too).

Development of I must Run! started six months ago. We thought it would be great to bring an action, running game with a thrilling story to PSP minis. These games are great, because the learning curve is really fast and game longevity is much higher than for standard games, as players try to improve their score. In IMR, we have added extra incentives: the fabulous story and outro.

The game mechanics are very simple (and the famous design quote “simple to learn, hard to master” applies here). There are three keys only in the game: jump, punch and slide. The user has to jump over the gaps between buildings (the closer you land to an edge, the more bonus points you will receive) subway trains and other platforms, avoid obstacles by sliding, and punch to destroy items to earn points and multipliers.

Introducing I Must Run!3

The game mechanics may sound easy, but we have tried to divert the user with lots of amazing animated elements in the background and excellent special effects (shaking screen, weather conditions etc… no more spoilers!).

Bringing I Must Run! to PSP minis was fun, and we think we have done everything to ensure that players have the best gaming experience possible. If you like fast-paced, skill-based action running games, this is a must have title for you. We hope you will enjoy playing I Must Run! A New Kombatant Joins Mortal Kombat 9 On PS3

Scorpion and Sub Zero, known the world over as the most vicious and devastating rivalry. Surely there is no way this epic battle between two fighters, whose hatred knows no bounds, could become any more twisted?

Enter a demi-God with a penchant for revenge and a fuse so short even Zeus himself has felt its sting. This isn’t just Mortal Kombat, this is mythical, bone crunching, ‘revenge of the Gods’ Kombat. This is Kratos Kombat.
