Hello everyone – we have some very exciting releases for you today!
The World of Warcraft: Curse of the Worgen series continue with issue #3… and it’s a Day & Date, meaning that it’s out today on PSN as well as in print! Famous detective Halford Ramsey has fallen head first into the world of “The Worgen,” a new race of creatures in World of Warcraft with a deep, twisted history. Will this lead him to lose himself to the Worgen form?…
More video-game goodness with Dead Space: Salvage. Set after the events of Dead Space, this comic doesn’t just feature deliciously grisly artwork by Christopher Shy and a fittingly chilling story by Antony Johnson, it also includes their Creator Commentary as well as concept art for Dead Space 2! The Government and a powerful sect seek the forsaken USG Ishimura, believing it may still hold a powerful artefact… and both will stop at nothing to reach it first.
Another highlight is the return of the much loved 2000AD Progs, with 2000AD Prog #1711 this week. Featuring Judge Dredd, hitmen Sinister Dexter in “Are you being severed?” (!), Celtic hero Sláine, dandy ghosthunter extraordinaire Dandrige in “Return of the Chap”, and more. What a program!
Charismatic anti-hero Deadpool is also back this week with his very first own mini-series, Deadpool (1993). Our Merc with a Mouth must make his way through a battalion of mercenaries in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia… But little does he know that Weapon X is lying in wait to take him down!
Manga and fantasy fans will be pleased to read that the Return to Labyrinth manga is debuting this week on the Digital Comics store. Based on the 1986 cult film Labyrinth, and occurring 13 years after its events, the series follows Toby, the half-brother of Labyrinth’s heroine Sarah, and his fateful return to Jareth and the Labyrinth.

Is there meant to be a Dragon Age #6? I could have sworn it was a 6 part series but only 5 are on the store. Last one was September last year I think, so the final one is overdue. (Going by the date stamp on the store. I only started reading them last week)
Also there are some comics I’d like to see added if possible if you take suggestions:
Rising Stars
Midnight Nation
Cheers
Ryan

That’s right there is a number #6 – I’ll check but it shouldn’t be long until we have it here.
We definitely take suggestions, so thank you for those Ryan!

*Sigh* please make me happy
Any news on a release for the rest of the EU?
Is there a PS3 comic reader inbound?
I was asked to put my questions on the forum but nobody seems to answer me there so I am back here. @ least I tried.

Oh sorry about the forum, I’ll see what’s up – but unfortunately |I have no news, sorry MrLopes.

As promised, Pauline, I started my collecting of some Superman titles this year, in the absence of Spider-Man titles. Enjoying those, but do you have any news on any further Spider-Man titles/spin-off’s heading to the store in the future. The series just seemed to stop, mid way and I was kind of hoping for some weekly regularity. I enjoyed the Venom series. Anything in that vein.
I won’t bore you with the obligatory questions regarding comics for PS3 etc. I don’t think it’s needed on a week by week basis as I feel a dozen times is more than enough. I know enough to Sony to realise that they act upon one request the same as if they get a million requests about the same thing. It’s just a matter of time and patience of which I have in abundance.
Enjoy the rest of week. x

Hey SpiderMike_X, glad you found something else to sink your teeth in. I’m pleased to say we do have some Spider-Man coming, in the form of Ultimate Spider-Man, very soon too! Hope you like that series. And also looking to add to the 2003 series, but that’s pending. Thank you for your patience with everything else, and have a great week!

Dead Space: Salvage IDW Publishing
Cool all those PS3 owners who would like to read this in time for Dead Space 2 release can read it right? Right?
Or is it only for PSP owners and their Dead Space game?
(There is no PSP Dead Space why is this comic not available to the people who might actually want the full story of the series?)

SOrry that sounded a ot meaner than Imeant after re-reading, was meant to be jokey…with a point.

I’m being slash-ranted at, noes! No, I understand, it would make sense indeed but we don’t have news about a PS3 version, unfortunately. So making this cool comic available to PSP owners is a good start.

yay, comics ^_^
labyrinth and dark crystal comics, two great henson films, the dark crystal is one of my favourite films from my childhood.
and finally somebody gets the best way to price issue 1 of a comic on the store, make it cheaper to so people are more likely to try it then charge the normal price for later issues, i don’t know why some publishers would make the first issue cost over twice as much as every other issue, that’s not gonna encourage buyers is it?
lastly, a question, any plans, that you can tell us about, for the new superboy series on the store?
Posted on 27 January, 2011 at 11:05 am by Pauline Martyn
Hehe.
Yes, no David Bowie included in the comic sadly, but very nice manga nonetheless, hope you like it.
No plans for Superboy yet – I shall add to the request list I have!

So, how are things over there now?

Does anyone have a clue if there will ever be digital comics on Portugal? There should be a single store for the European region and not different stores for each country. It’s pretty sad… In the US you can actually get to access TV channels content… Stuff from The CW, CN, Warner, and so on. Whereas around here you get zilch… Not to mention that the US get a lot more games. Sony should be ashamed.
