I think SingStar is loosing fans, check out the SingStar World Forum. IT’S CLOSING DOWN AT MAY 2011 BECAUSE OF NOT ENOUGH FANS ANYMORE.

Well, I’m having a hard time deciding whether I should be happy or sad about this update. I’ll be getting 5 songs in total, which is a good thing, but the fact that there are only 3 new ones to the SingStore is more than disappointing. Is this what we have to look forward to in 2011? Because if so, I might have to consider finding a better use for my wallet funds in the future, since without many new and popular songs hitting the SingStore, this game will quickly lose its long-term appeal.

Please, make the next update a stunner! I know you can ^^

Update doesn’t blow me away, actually quite disappointed that only 3 songs (technically) got released, not including foreign language tracks. Will be getting the Cranberries song. Now I have a question, on the Australian store there is a Savage Garden song (I want you) that has remained an exclusive to that region and was hoping it would be released to others?

At every Singstore update, I still hope for classic tunes that everybody knows… This is partially done with this update because in France we’ve heard of Bon Jovi and the Cranberries (which is not often the case since many months…).
Keep focusing on famous singers instead of releasing unknown singers. Quality over quantity!

Sad to tell that play time on Singstar has been dramatically reduced these last months due to poor updates… Sorry guys, but we really feel that Singstar team decided to abandon the French market without any new french song on the Singstore nor new disc relased in 2010…

You can’t just release a couple of song packs as individual songs and call that an update?? Very disappointing.

- Ever-decreasing numbers in updates (Xmas period aside)?
- Tiny number of guitar add-ons available even now (over 3 months since release)?
- £1.15 a track?

The casual consumer is losing the pull to invest in Singstar (less and less new content) and the hardcore fans are being bent over (financially speaking) with a price increase way above inflation, or the VAT increase in the UK.

R.I.P. SingStore!

Is Tinie Tempah ft Kelly Rowland – Invincible also coming to the store soon? Or how about more country songs from Dolly Parton or Jessica Simpson? I know it’s hard to release songs that were on disc also on Singstore but can you try?

Already have the song packs so little choice for me, will be getting Zombie and possibly Frisky though… but I have to agree, this update is rather disappointing. ;(

Sorry to say and Im a huge fan of Singstar but the updates these days are seriously lacking a lot of new tracks, even oldies like Michael Jackson where are they? We have to pay 0.50 cents for a Guitar update and then another 0.50 for Dance update to a song already bought.

I mean seriously team, give us some decent updates, real top40 songs, and lots more.

Oh and can that annoying Move ad at the beginning of Singstar start please be removed??

This time, I’m buying Sum 41′s In too deep and POSSIBLY Bon Jovi’s It’s my life. But I have to agree with all the statements above :
- there are fewer and fewer NEW songs.(to “unpack a songpack” for me is NOT an update)
- who the hell is Tinie Tempah ??? His songs don’t even air on French radios…just like many of the newer songs you make available. For sure, I’m not going to sing a song I don’t even know !! Come back to basics (= FAMOUS international artists, great anthems, not “second hand” singers)
I’m eagerly awaiting the so-called “couple of classic tracks” you’re talking about…but remember, a lot of people are also waiting for NEW NEW stuff to sing along.

Hi Nina…Zombie Is AWESOME…But maybe we’d like to sing or some new songs or maybe THE CLASSIC SONGS Just like Mariah’s Songs…(Just for an example)… But I’d like to ask you two things…Why do you update the store evrey 2 weeks and not like the PSN every Week???And Why do you add 15-16 songs for every update??

Hey Chris, a quick question.

Since my account was reset for my new PS3 I am unable to download the dance gameplay(extra) and the Born To Make You Happy (dance add-on). I get the download failed message. I ve tried downloading both from singstar viewer and from singstar dance.For the dance add-on I deleted the song and re-downloaded in case that was the problem, but it wasnt.

Any Idea on what I should do to solve this problem?

Have to echo the majority of people who’ve posted in this thread and say that this update is extremely weak.

What a depressing start to the new year for Singstar.

Nothing for us for the third time this year. Where are the Carpenters,Shakira, some more 70s, 80s classics, Bond themes,a proper Beatles one – not in the same format as guitar hero, come on, we’re getting bored now, more classics are needed!

Can someone from the singstar team please update the Wikipedia page for the list of downloadable songs? It only lists 1310 for the UK territory, while the current count is 1595. Trying to QUICKLY browse songs is impossible on singstar.com website since it’s all image based…and yeah wikipedia isn’t your site but it’s still one of the main ways people get information and right now your information is out of date.

That or have an option on the singstar.com website to have TEXT only. These are such simple things to make shopping for songs easier…don’t you guys want more of our money!?

Well Cranberries is really nice actually (even though is not new). I’m a huge fan of singstar, but lately I’m getting a bit disappointed.
We need new hits ^^ Where are the rest of Lady gaga tracks? Paparazzi, Telephone and Alejandro? Katy Perry, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Marina and the Diamonds, September, Adam Lambert..

Also more songs from Michelle Branch, Spice Girls, Dido, etc..
