Hi everyone – let’s see what’s in store for you this week.

Digital Comics Store Update 02-01-11

Another fantastic Day & Date from DC with DC Universe Online Legends #1. Tying-in with the DC Universe Online game, this brand new series is brought to you by an all-star team including Marv Wolfman, Tony Bedard and Howard Porter. In this first issue, Lex Luthor’s obsession with destroying Superman reaches a fever pitch when he cuts the ultimate Devil’s deal with Brainiac…but with the shake of a hand, has Luthor consigned humanity to genocide?

Fans of Spider-Man, read on! Meet 15 year old Peter Parker in the acclaimed Ultimate Spider-Man (2000), and watch him grow up into the hero we know and love, through personal tragedy and a fateful bite… With great power, there must also come great responsibility!

And a worthy addition for Wolverine fans: Wolverine (2008): Old Man Logan #8 (Giant Size), the brutal conclusion to the Old man Logan arc – fifty years in the future the United States have been overtaken and divided amongst supervillains… Wolverine returns and unleashes a tidal wave of bloody revenge – will he make a difference? This Giant Size also features many extras, so don’t miss out.

In part 1 of 4 of Transformers: Prime, the comic prequel to the animated series, Cliffjumper and Arcee battle their way through Decepticon forces in a desperate adventure to learn the secrets of Space Bridge Technology – but Starscream stands in their way!

Jeff Smith’s highly entertaining series Bone continues with the Eyes of the Storm story arc, available in single issues (#12-19) or as an all-inclusive bundle! Just take your pick. In volume three of the nine-book Bone saga, some long-kept secrets are revealed as Gran’ma Ben lifts the lid on Thorn’s lineage, and unrest grows as devilish creatures look for “the one who bears the star”…

We also have many great bundles from Markosia with: The Dark, Dark Mists, From the Pages of Bram Stoker’s Dracula: Harker, Kong: King of Skull Island, The Lexian Chronicles (part 1), Raising Amy, Reya. You can now pick up all these series at a discounted price.

Please visit www.playstationcomics.com for prices and to see the whole catalogue.

I also would like to communicate an announcement regarding additional stores within the SCEE region:
We can confirm that no further Digital Comic Stores for PSP will be launched within the SCEE region. Although the current stores have been very popular and we have every confidence that they will continue to be so, it has been decided that our focus should be on maintaining and improving the current stores. We apologise to those within the PlayStation community hoping to get a Digital Comic Store in their region, and look forward to sharing new and exciting services with them throughout the year.

See you in the comments below and have a good week.
