For most people older than 14, Valentine’s Day isn’t a huge deal. That being said, any excuse to spend time with loved ones and friends is a good thing. We’re quite an international bunch here, so how is February 14 celebrated in your country?
The big question is:
Have fun and take care of each other.

I’m positive there was a story ages ago that said the PS3 helped men pull the girls. So maybe playing the PS3 on Valentine’s isn’t such a bad thing ^_^

Turn down the lights, pour a glass of wine, light up some nice scented candles to set the mood and turn on the marvin gaye on the stereo and everything is set to start the night…
…Walk in to the living room and it’s already there, waiting, with the blue and green light on.
You know what time it is….It’s business time and by business i mean a giant library of exclusive titles to choose from such as Killzone,Uncharted,LittleBIGPlanet and so on
PS3 it only does Forever Alone but proud of it xD

I’ve never seen the point of spending time with anyone I’ve been dating on Valentines day, mainly cause it feels so organised (by others). I’d rather spend any other day in the year dedicated to her than that one certain day everyone feel like they have to. Which is why I voted PS3.

single, but if I had the choice, time with a loved one is somthing you won’t be able to play over, so best make the most of it.

Although I am single I voted for a girlfriend. There are things more important than the gaming.

“People who voted PS3 must be joking?”
They don’t HAVE partners, so of course they vote for that. These polls are much too simple. They should be split into whether a person has a partner or not or else it’s not accurate.

Valentines day is invented in collaboration between on one side the greeting card stuff bears chocolate and stuffed bears vendors and producers and on the other side the alcohol tobacco and ¨health¨ product manufacturers and vendors … if you got a valentine you have to buy the sweet and often way to expensive crap if you don’t there is a nice chance your blues will force you in to losing weight or becoming zit-less or in case of the indefinitely lonely smoke and drink way more.
Valentines is everything what is wrong with capitalism and totalitarianism all rolled in to one nice package. That being said to me its just another day so i will watch the last few episodes of the Gilmore girls and maybe play some of the prince of persia trilogy.

@Hemelskonijn: I couldn’t agree more. Talk about being screwed over by a marketing scheme.
@RobbySpry: While I’m single, I would’ve voted the same if I was in a relationship. There’s nothing special or even romantic about doing something for your loved one, cause the media tells you that you should do. It’s way more special and romantic to do something once in a while through all the other days in the year. That’s the things that makes a different, not if you went over the top with all the other people in the world on that one day and sat on your ass with the PS3 the rest of the year.

My thoughts for Valentine’s are the same as my thoughts on any other famous holiday – I need to check all my online games for special holiday events.
Nice to see the heart stores all over Home.
And the closeness is of this poll is truly saddening. PS3 should be winning with 90%, surely?

Advantages of a PS3 better over a partner:
1) You can play with it whenever you like.
2) You can trade it in for another model without it becoming upset.
3) You can have several at any single point in time and nobody gets hurt.
4) It’s always giving new and exciting content to keep you interested.
5) It doesn’t physically age. (I know that one might be a little harsh…)
It’s really a no-brainer…

well my partner games with me so chances are we will play some co-op and then watch something like the new barbarians but to be honest that isn’t something special for valentine’s we don’t even pay attention to or buy into some commercialised version of love day
see even some females think valentine’s is pointless

It’s going to be another night of PS3 for me. But since it’s Valentines Day, I’ll be more intimate and teabag EVERYONE I kill on Bad Company 2 instead of just certain people!

My PS3.Valentine’s Day is a sorry excuse to fall in love or show it. So… since I show my love to my girl the whole year round and she considers V day to be another marketing trick, I will spend the evening playing Mass Effect 2 thank you.
