Because I still haven’t shown off my new green cardigan enough, here is the final video interview from the PlayStation Experience press event in London a couple of weeks ago. This time I caught up with Greg from Sucker Punch Productions to talk about how morality comes into play in inFAMOUS 2.
In case you missed them, here are the good and evil gameplay videos that we debuted last week.

Just like InFamous-1, I’m planning to do 2 playthroughs, once as evil, and once as good. Platinums arouse me.

^Same here. Infamous1 was the most fun Platinum to get (I’ve only got about 7 but still).
And yeah yeah at promo vids, we all love the game already. Just give us the release date!

did anyone see the weird aniamtion cole does after every action? Its like he shrugs his shoulders and his feet after everything he does, anything, like jumping, runing or shooting, looks kinda anoying.

can I get someone to answer my question that was put on the last two plus update posts? NZ hasn’t gotten the Lead and Gold PSN game this month. Are we getting something else or are we just being skipped this month?

Can somebody please put Cole’s head back the way it used to be. The wind didn’t go and change on him did it, so if it ain’t broke, then why try to fix it?

Addendum: I’m not rying to bump or anything, it’s just, I can’t watch the clips above with my ps3 browser. Beggars belief that Sony would post visual content in it’s own blog that doesn’t work with it’s own browser. Almost as mind boggling as them sending out emails that go completely blank when one tries to open them with said browser, or posting system updates that nullify searches within You Tube, or poting comments therein, and now with the latest 3.56 update it has become impossible to post Tweets in Twitter (. Prime examples of the hands not knowing what the (half)brain is trying to direct them to do…SYSOSony. )

The PS3 browser is not supported anymore and will be removed in the next firmware downgrade because of security issues.

I liked InFamous on my first playthrough, but during the second, evil, playthrough I totally lost interest. Partly due to the repetitive “Sidequests”, but mainly because I totally disliked acting as a bad guy.
Honestly, you shouldn’t force gamers to do an evil playthrough for a Platinum Trophy… Let us gamers the choice. I am not a big fan of moral systems and the way they are handled at the moment.
I will definitely lose interest in this game if you make an evil playthrough necessary again.

Thanks to the team for fixing the video issues above. Even with the pixelated You Tube view, I can see this game is looking good, much better than it’s predecessor, which looked pretty good itself. I mentioned in a post on the ps site once that actually BEING in Empire City made me feel like it was a place I wanted to be, to game in, a bit like the feeling you get when your bus ride finally takes you home to your part of town for example. Well New Marais looks like it’s shaping up to be another gaming map that I wanna play in. Plus Cole, for all of his remodelled head & voice, has some nice new moves too. Let’s hope Sony bring out a decent collectors edition of the game this time.

@alphachris ARE YOU INSANE one of the best things about infamous is morality choices and evil is well better if they got rid of evil trophies I might lose interest>={}
