We have some exciting news to share with everyone about the game and our upcoming patch!
First, we’re extremely pleased to report that Dead Nation received the Editor’s Choice award by Gaming Nexus, Just Push Start, PlayStation Lifestyle, ZTGD, and Gamingbolt!
Not only that, but the game was also chosen as PSN game of the year 2010 by PS Nation, Gamingbolt, and Playstation Lifestyle! We’re most honored for these awards, we wish to thank everyone who voted; this means a lot!
Now, we’re excited to report that our upcoming patch is only days away (coming Monday, March 7) and will provide players with not only online Co-op Voice Chat, but also Checkpoint saves, the ability to copy saves, and some further surprises for all the Dead Nation players out there!
And finally, for those interested in seeing behind-the-scenes of the game’s development, we made a small development diary last year that shows just how the whole zombie pandemic really got started…
We want to thank all the Dead Nation players out there and let them know that they’re appreciated! Keep your eyes peeled and your wits about you, the apocalypse has only begun!

If the artwork at the top is anything to go by, we’ll also be getting the original concept characters to play with as skins.
Sounds good, though. I look forward to diving back in for a few levels, having Platted this back in early Jan.

Great game and great to see further support post release!
Even for games I don’t like/play, I always take notice of developers who support their games after release as I know if they do produce a title I’m interested in, in the future, I’ll know they’re at least listening to the community for requests, features or simply addressing issues etc. Something other dev’s/publishers blatantly ignore *cough* Activision

Great game. I got the Platinum Trophy with a friend (w/out Voice Chat..).
I don’t understand why you [developers] continue to lock the savedata.
It’s more important to the player who cannot back-up the data than stop a hacker who hack the leaderboards or the thophies.

wow this is so cool! loved Dead Nation, hopefully the patch will help us get through harder difficulties and levels without the worry of having to finish the level in one sitting

awsome been waiting for this to finish it off as the last diff is solid on ur own and even harder without voice support on co op but this should breathe new life into the game and hopefully the suprise is a few extra levels as the game is painfully short.

I havent touched this again as it has no voice chat or checkpoint saves, it was announced but I thought it had fallen by the wayside and was just sucking us in for our money….I am really glad they are doing this, so now I will get to seriously playing it…THANK YOU for not letting us down…too many devs just grab our money and run these days….

Yep, I downloaded it.
No big surprises there (beside the announced ones). As I already completed the game (I got the platinum last sunday), I was hoping for new levels or game modes.
Bah, at least the new statistics screen showed me that I played +32h at this game. So don’t hesitate to buy it, it’s definitely worth its price !
