As Mr. Nathan Vella mentioned last week, Ubisoft and Cabybara Games are set to cast Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes out into the wild later today. Announced last year, Clash of Heroes is an HD remake of the classic DS title released in 2009. If you’ve seen what Capybara Games has done with their previous HD-ifying ventures, you’ll know that the remake for Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes will blow your mind. As someone who never got his hands on the DS game, I was very impressed with my hands-on time with the game (or impressed enough to accidentally skip a meal on Sunday because I was too busy playing
).
Even better is the story that unfolds throughout the game. Now, I don’t want to spoil things for anyone, but Clash of Heroes follows five heroes as they embark on a journey to retrieve a lost artifact. Through their adventures, you will visit five unique territories that will pose a variety of enemies and challenges. Take a look at our new trailer highlighting the five heroes above.
Couple all this with some stunning HD visuals and online/offline multiplayer modes (either 1v1 or 2v2) and you have a puzzle role-playing game that will surely keep you busy for quite some time. Look for Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes when it hits the PlayStation Network later today for £9.99. If our blog posts still haven’t convinced you, be sure to take the demo for a spin.

Can the game be played with its original graphics, for us pixel-art freaks?

Nope, not intrested. But good to know, Capybara Games are all about the puzzleness.

For all saying the game is too expensive (regarding they even get a plus discount)

That’s the same amount but you get revamped and more balanced units and multiplayer… sorry but that’s really inapporpriate now <.<

As I passed this one on DS because I didn’t know if it would be my cup of tea, I’ll check this demo out for sure. Might as well buy it afterwards, although I’ve got to much on my hands these days to be truly able to dig in the games I want to play.

The trailer looks good, I like the art style and the 20% psn plus discount. But think I’ll need to give the demo a whirl first (nice to get a demo too!) you can’t beat a try before you buy!

I played trial from US PSS, and this game is really good, but loadings are annoying.

It’s actually £11.99 and “later today” was wrong too.

I’m not getting it out of principle now until it goes on sale due to it being cheaper in the USA. At £9.99 it would have been perfect.

Having played a little it was an instant buy for me. It’s the game the Puzzle Quest series always aspired to be, the concept of the puzzler/RPG hybrid finally reaches it’s potential
One of the few DS games from last year that I’d have likely picked up if I hadn’t have got rid of it, they’ve done a sterling job with the port too, if you didn’t know about the original I doubt you’d even realise it was a port of a DS game.

Bit of a mess up on the blog price post but as a plus member it’s still sub £9.99 for a really interesting looking game.
Loved the demo apart from the mega long loading times??
