I was already wondering which trailer Hideo Kojima meant when he tweeted today that the BF3 12 minute trailer was amazing..
It is.
Is this a trailer from the PS3 version?

The gameplay video looks incredible. I have pre-ordered and really can’t wait to get my hands on the game.

Two questions:

Any chance of some console footage soon?

Do you have a timescale for the multiplayer Beta?

Remember folks, this is PC footage. If you want to play it when it looks that good, buy it on PC!

I hope it looks like this on the PS3 version(i don’t see why not, just look at KillZone 2 + 3 how amazing they look) I hope they don’t dumb-it-down just because they have to make it look like the xbox 360 version

Overhyped scripted nonsense. No offense, but this isn’t as good as BF2. BTW, why does a proper Battlefield game actually even have single player to start with? :\

who cares about the graphics when gameplay is all that matters. BFBC2 rocked. So I hope BF3 rocks too, flashy graphics or not.

Love the blinking effect around 6:44 when a sniper’s bullet comes nearby, the audio is great in BC2 so you can really hear the crack as a sniper’s bullet whistles past really close, it’s cool to see there’s a more visible cue too, also it’s good to see the player going prone in the trailer.

So where’s the never before seen footage? I swear we’ve since this whole video before, just in bite size segments.

So when are you gonna show console footage? You might aswell be showing live action as the PS3 won’t hit this in standards. I know sony will show this running on the PS4 at E3 thats it.

@ Carl-G it will be lowered on ps3 our xbox360 because this game is made for dx11 on pc

and as we all know ps3 and xbox360 only supports dx9.

Man companys need to take a break from developing FPSs and bring us something new and innovating. Its only april and so far this year we have had 3 FPSs. They are all the same thing once you take away the art design. Mediocre stories with the same duck and shoot gameplay. I think Resistance 3 will be the next and last FPS I play for a good while

I read somewhere that the release will coincide with the release of the next COD game. They are going in direct competition now to take the ‘number 1 spot’. Should be interesting…

why you show us a PC build of the game?

Couldn’t be more excited but if you come to the PS3 blog you really need to show PS3 footage!!!!!!

Yeah, the PC footage looks great but EA are close to over-hyping this to the console crowd and setting unrealistic expectations. We need to see 12 minutes of console footage – and some multi-player – really soon.

Otherwise it’s going to be just like Crysis 2 where people start getting really suspicious as to WHY we haven’t been shown any PS3 footage yet…

Console games and PC games should never have crossed over. Now unfortunately, you have all these little console fanboy kids that whinge and moan about the games and graphics. What they don’t understand is that some games were meant to be PC and stay PC (every Call of Duty, Medal of Honour, Battlefield) and some games were meant to be Console and stay Console (Halo, Gears of War, Space Invaders).

Seriously, it peeves me off (and others, I know) when console fanboys ruin our PC games. You’ve ruined everything – the engines, the servers, the server browsers, the latency, the gameplay, the controls, the in-game functions, the auto-aim, the A.I. Everything.

Leave the PC games for PC, and stop whinging when a SINGLE F**KING TITLE comes out with a bias for PC. It’s MEANT to be this way, so go play your crappy Halo 3 thats been built for deadbeat dropkicks with no sense of gamer etiquette.

OK, but some of us can’t be arsed to sod around with PeeCees (I have a tower for video work – Mac not Microjunk, and a console for play) …oyeh, by the way, you’re on a Sony PS3 forum…Halo 3 is Microtoss X-junk..get off yer high horse sonny.

@maVernick Sounds to me like you’re the one thats whinging. You sound like the typical elitist PC gamer. The reason why we see PC games on consoles is that games companys are greedy. Its not the gamers fault. Anyway, its partly due to console sales why DICE has such a big budget for this game.

i hope they put move support in the game ….. at first with the move sharpshooter i hated it but after 3hours of playing it sat down you love it …… but just like sony they give us one good game with it kz3 …. why not patch some of the older fps to include move support …… i mean the sharpshooter is designed for fps not 3rd person with 3rd person you loose that feel like your involved ….. so come on sony you made a product …. we bought the product then you give us one good fps made with the sharpshooter in mind ….. then it’s wait till september for resistance 3…. if i’d have known it was 2 games a year i wouldn’t have spent £170 on the camera the move the baby controller the sharpshooter and kz3…..invest in your product like you asked us too
