“By the end of the week” in other words. by the weekend…. Sunday! If its back before you will all be happier, I can’t take any more moaning about what poor service about psn that sony have given, we are all in the same boat! Just be patient!

Glad to hear some good news! I really hope for the PS Store by the end of the week.

I’ll just continue playing through my Mass Effect 2 Insanity run. The outage has made me pick up old, awesome single player games!

@33 Why should we stop complaining? So they can treat us like crap more often? They need to sort their PR team out. Tell the truth from the beginning and more importantly admit this is entirely their fault.

We the consumer have put them on top. If they with to remain on top they need to fix their support. They should crumble after this ball up but it’s because of ignorant fans like you they don’t feel the need to fix their ways.

After such a long maintenance, will we have the store back?

Well done to the tech guys, it’s just a pity the “Head of Communications” lets the side down by releasing such a meaningless, vague and uninformative post.

I read on one site PSN down from 1630 till 0700! That’s a lot of time for maint so here’s hoping store back very soon after network back up.

I’m highly doubting this will mean the store will be back after the maintenance. It does say this is a ‘STEP’ in getting the store and such fully up and running, but that could just be prep. Since it says back up in ‘MOST’ regions by the end of the week I doubt that they’ll start the store back up in any regions this early in the week. Let’s not get our hopes up and all expect the store on the coming tuesday.
