Yeah, I’d like to add to that point, do Top Cow and Dark Horse support the Playstation Comic store? I would have thought with Darkness II coming in September, even though it looks terrible compared to the original, I’d see some wicked Darkness comics on the store to support it.
Reply please! ^^

I’m afraid Dark Horse are not present on the Digital Comics service. For a list of developers, check out the catalogue on the site.

Yaster, Deus ex #4 came out before this update, as I managed to purchase it on the 17th June, does this mean we should be getting issue 5 instead?

@6 What the hell DH!? I’ve always preferred Top Cow/Dark Horse over DC/Marvel apart from the movies (Since I don’t know how many Top Cow/Dark Horse comics have movies lol.)
But even so, thats a bad business decision. Really bad.

So.
Will the store finally be released to the rest of the European countries that do not have access as part of the goodwill program?
When will Norway/Rest of Europe get access?
Cross region gifting option?
PS3 comics reader? (after the release in other countries part)

I’m afraid the current situation remains the same as the blog post from the 2nd of February http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/02/02/digital-comics-store-update-2nd-february-2011/ no further stores are to be launched for the SCEE region.

@9 I suppose the real problem is that in North America, you only need to worry about two languages, French and English. And there is god knows how many in Europe and the translation and editing costs a lot of money. It won’t be Sony per-se who isn’t supporting it, but the publishers themselves.

Tought SCEE wanted to get customers back, what better way to do that then giving them what they want?
This is a service people want, so it would be wise to give them access to it. Doing anything else ESPECIALLY after PSN was hacked and info leaked is pretty poor management. It seems to be proof that whoever is in charge of SCEE is severely lacking in the intelligence department.
There should also be no reason to not either give non-UK people access to the UK comics store, or open new ones in the other regions.
PS, your link is broken..

Why are the comics so out-of-date?
Transformers #20 is on shelves, and Rising Storm is over. Movie Adaptation #1 is out now!

@10 This has never been about translation and language. We dont want it translated. We want it in English. If they dont want to open a dedicated -store because they dont have enough localized comics to fill it with; dont. Give us access to the UK store and let us buy en English ones.
Also; i dont think there has ever been given a feasible explanation for WHY they cant let us use the UK store (or open new stores for that matter). Its this tight-lipped manner that [DELETED] me off the most.

yay, comics.
seems like ages since there was an issue of the TF ongoing book.
any news on infiltration?
now, on a serious note, why are we paying more for comics like infamous?
even with the straight dollar to pound conversion that scee like so much we’re still paying too much.
look
http://us.playstationcomics.com/main/digital-comics/issue-detail.html?issue=inFAMOUS%20%235_100274-US-EN
the us pays $2.99
http://uk.playstationcomics.com/main/digital-comics/issue-detail.html?issue=inFAMOUS%20%235_100274-GB-EN
the uk pays £3.19
when you factor in the actual exchange rate, it’s even worse.
we should be paying about £1.85, when in fact we’re paying the equivalent of $5.17.

@18 Ongoing is up to #20 in ‘real’ stores now. I’ve given up on the comic store, it’s always weeks behind on TF comics.

Can’t you restrict these posts to only be visible for the viewers from counties sony actually release this stuff in? Why should I care to read about something that I’m not fit to buy according to Sony.
in Regards to those reasons for why SCEE wont release any more comic stores don’t answer anything of what people have asked all this time (re:that febuary post you linked to). the mention of wanting to improve and build upon the existing doesnt answer anything, how hard can it be to release the UK one all over, i don’t care if i have to read it in English, it’s not like you have to mind different retailers or shipping.

Yeah why can’t you just release them in English in rest of the EU i would prefer them in English anyways
