Resistance 3 Dev Diary: Enemies And Artificial Intelligence

We are working hard here at Insomniac HQ, putting the finishing touches on Resistance 3 in time for our early September release date. We were happy with all of our fantastic comments on the first video in our Dev Diary series in co-operation with the PlayStation Blog, which focused on environments and storyline. Many of you immediately asked “when is the next one coming?” I’m happy to answer that the latest video is now available! It focuses on Resistance 3′s vicious new Chimeran enemies and the significant artificial intelligence improvements we’re making, including enhanced group tactics.

We hope to continue to bring these to you every couple of weeks as we head up to Resistance 3‘s September 7th launch. If you haven’t already, head to your favorite game retailer and pre-order your copy of Resistance 3 to get access to unique bonus items. I have 1 question, it’s about Auger. I always “don’t” understand weapon wich can fire through walls etc. If bullet can go through wall why can’t go through our hero? ;P

just cant wait to get my copy the only problem is round september, october & november time there is just SOOO many games coming out but Resistance 3 is top of my list along with uncharted 3 & a few more LOL anyways hurry up september 7th

I enjoyed resistance FOM, and loved resistance 2 but resistance 3 doesn’t really stand out to me. Saying that, I didn’t want resistance 2 until a m8 told me to try it and i loved it to bits, especially online, so I guess i’ll keep my eye on this one. Kinda annoyed about ditching 64 player online and the “2 guns at a time system”, i don’t mean this in a bad way, but resistance isn’t the same quality as other shooters out there, so the HUGE online battles really made it stand out from the crowd. I think this is the one time quantity over quality was the better option mixed with fun weapons and simple controls.

I can’t wait for the game. I see the Doomsdays edition is on zavvi.co.uk for £149.85/€184.85. There is no way I am paying that. I might get it from game instead.

japanese psn down, psn all over is still bugged. problems like lagging, freezing, error reports, hacked accounts. it was rushed fix on outage just to stop moaning spoilt and to prevent loosing more millions! microsoft and big banks are having secuity problems but dont wont to cause mass scare, personal details are safe but you are going to see a world internet meltdown.

I loved resistance 2 and the epic boss battles but i was a bit confused by the ending of the campaign. Hopefully resistance 3 can clear everything up for me! Cant wait for it come on September 7th!!!
