Red faction £58? Must be a mistake?!
Posted on 6 July, 2011 at 1:46 pm by Ross McGrath
Sadly no, the European RRP at retail is €69.99 although it can be found a lot cheaper than this from various vendors.

You are quite right – this was a type error, fixed now. The compatibilitry pack will be free when the Store goes live.

Posted on 6 July, 2011 at 1:45 pm by elhozzo3
Ross, I would like to suggest you try to set up ‘Ross’s DLC pricing policy’ :
first year, DLC is full price, as decided by publisher
on the ’1st birthday’, we see a 25% permanent price reduction
on the 2nd birthday, that becomes 50%
and finally, 3 years after it was first released, the permanent price is 25% of the original price.
I was disappointed, the DLC sale ignored PSN games … would like reductions in Peggle Nights, the Snooker pack for Hustle Kings, MAgic Orbz packs, Stardust packs, Wipeout fury etc
and the sale missed some games : motorstorm and MS:PR, Everybodys Golf, Bioshock (wanted the NewGame+ option, but 6.29 for the Challenge pack? – I picked up Bioshock II for 5.99 … )
this was a good sale, but in the end, I didn’t get anything, quite interested in the Resident Evil untold stories, and Enslaved DLC, but still priced too high (10 quid for both, I can get a entire new game from play.com for that)
Looking forward to the rest of the sales coming !

Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated!
We’ll take your suggestions on board.

1) What about the Pink Knight Castle Crasher DLC?
2) When are we gonna get back the refund for getting beyond good and evil at a higher price? Some weeks has passed since i was told that i am going to get my money back in my wallet, but still nothing.
Posted on 6 July, 2011 at 2:10 pm by Ross McGrath
I have no idea what happened to the Pink Knight release, I saw emails going back and forth about it some time ago, I will chase it up and see what’s what.
As for the BG&E refunds, they should still be working through them and if you haven’t had a refund yet and are still owed one, it’s in process.

Hey ross, got two questions for you. I can’t seem to find the impact mode dlc for super stardust hd on the store. Another thing I noticed is a small niggle but downloaded the populous the beginning PS1 game and the image on the XMB has a White a boarder around the game art which doesn’t fit in well with the rest of my PS1 games, just wondering if this can be fixed

Nothing for PSP this week. I want LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars for the PSP, but its not on the store yet. Well, actualy it is, but as its published by Lucasarts, they are charging an arm and a leg for it, so in my eyes, its NOT on the store. LEGO Pirates was £23.99, but £31.99 for essentialy the same game set in the star wars universe is terrible
Posted on 6 July, 2011 at 2:15 pm by Ross McGrath
They’re published by different publishers, hence the difference.

Hello, hello, me again
!
Like the other times:
Know anything for the Classics Japanese PSOne? (Megaman 1-2-3, Sonic Wings Specials….)
Any chance to launch Classics USA PSOne in Europe? (Xenogears, Parasite Eve 1, Chrono Cross,
Legend of Mana, Einhander, Dragon Quest VII….)
Everybody’s Tennis PSP for Essentials, when?
PD. More PSOne european games, please (Ace Combat 1-2-3, Ridge Racer 1-2, Rage Racer, Bushido
Blade, Battle Arena Toshinden, Destruction Derby 2, Spyro 1-2-3, Klonoa, Tombi!, Alundra, Legen
of Dragoon, C-12, Tenchu, Incredible Crisis, Koudelka, Megaman X4-X5-X6, Medal of Honor 1-2,
Omega Boost, R-Types, Wild Arms…..)
PD2. Saw you how much PSOne games in reopening of Japan Store? In one year don’t launch that
many games in Europa neither of joke (This makes me think that the only problem in europe are
get the licencses for all countries….)
PD3. People! Flood with requests for PSOne games!
PD4. Gex. Nice;)!

Hi Ross
I am so disappointed about your news about Crash Bash not even being legally cleared yet; the PSone classics have been coming since 2006. What have you guys been doing all these years? Crash Bash was one of the most popular titles back in the PSone days it and has sold more than you’re “Tomb Raiders” surely it would make sense to put more of the best PSone classics on the store first. The store is mostly full of second rate PSone titles, what I want to know why waste time on rubbish titles, when you can be emulating and legally clearing titles that are in high demand?
I guess the other request, I asked is completely out of the question (getting Crash: Wrath of Cortex) as this is a PS2 classic and they should have been introduced ages ago, (laziness on Sony’s behalf), everything is going at a snails pace and I understand it takes time, but its about common sense really, the best titles should go on the store first. Crash bandicoot 2 took just under 4 years to come back and what hope have we for other PSone classics never mind PS2 classics I have given up hoping because at this rate the world will have ended by the time we see PS2 classics on store as well as the rest of the good PSone classics.

Hi Ross,
Would it be possible for you guys to make an enquiry to PopCap Games about potentially getting a timed sale/price reduction on ‘Plants vs. Zombies’?
It was on sale last month on the US Store (reduced from $14.99 (£9.37) to $9.99 (£6.25)), and also recently on Steam for just £2.37. At £11.99 over here, it’s clearly not all that enticing in comparison.
Thank you.
