I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of the problem that Welcome Back PlayStation Plus Users are having and are working to get this fixed ASAP. Currently, the Welcome Back offer is not expiring and so those that have purchased a full Plus membership are not able to access the full Plus content. This issue is the cause of many of the other problems you have reported here on the blog, such as new content not showing up in the Store as expected.
We are working on this problem now as a matter of priority and expect customers to see this fixed over the next few days.

If you downloaded Magic when it was available then you will still have access to it when your new Plus membership starts.

i think its PS+ is not expireing for welcom back users.
Because of this, you cant get this months ps+ specials, as they are not available to WB users, even if you get full membership, since you will still be on WB package.

mis-communication there. I meant Magic 2012.
I want to buy it, as part of PS+ but was on WB packaged.
I saw on a previous reply where you said you should wait for 30 days to expire, before upgrading to PS+, but now i have R500 in my wallet, waiting for WB to expire, but the special is not on anymore.
So… what do i do???

Hi James. Can you explain the above? So, someone who is not a Welcome Back member, someone who is actually a paid member (and has been from day one) in other words, can’t access content because the content Welcome Back members (who were gifted the service for a month because of the recent downtime) are entitled to isn’t expiring. Is that right?
Let me see if I have this right: Content that should be expiring for people who haven’t paid is affecting content for people who have paid?
I’m not trying to be smart, but have I got that right?

Hi, if you are a paid plus member then you should be able to access all the current Plus content (apart from Golden Axe, which will be back up very soon). The problem is just for those that had the welcome back Plus membership. Cheers

@20 nothing had been spotted, thousands of people had to complain. like dlc for gta customer support had no idea it was broken file but took peoples money for it and now had to issue refunds that took up to 2weeks, thats 2weeks in bank collecting interest!!

james it is far better to say you fixing error than nothing at all, think every1 would agree with me there @33 psn is still bugged it was rush fix to prevent losing more millions but im affraid sony has dug its own grave. you will all experience problems like this in future, obviously sony will deny this because it would lose them even more custom they are however still working on errors caused by outage. a time frame on 100% fix is imposible to say, they may not be able to do so and have to replace everything

You should also let whoever is in charge of the playstation.com site know that avatars that are purchased from the PS Store do not show, all you get is the grey default avatar as you can see with many posters here.

Hey, thought I’d give u some info on the faulty avatars. My Gabranth won’t appear on the blog and my PSN friends can’t see it either. I bought it on the day it was released and have also purchased Cloud and he doesn’t work either.

@James: I’m using the Zidane Dissidia avatar. I changed to one of the avatars that comes with the XMB and it worked, I could see it when I logged on the website. Then I changed back to the Zidane avatar and I got the default grey guy again, I tried changing to other avatars I had purchased on the store and I got the same problem.
On the PS3 though everything works fine, the right avatar is showing so no problem there.

@James: Sorry for the dubble post, just saw your other reply. The Dissidia avatars was not part of Plus but it was the same with the Infamous 2 avatars that you can get now with Plus.
