So for those of you that missed the announcement of all the different Resistance 3 retail options a few months back, I wanted to give you a quick reminder and show you a brand new trailer we have for the Resistance 3 Survivor Edition.
Here’s a quick recap of the various digital pre-order bonuses available across PAL.

RESISTANCE 3 SPECIAL EDITION
Next up we have the Resistance 3 Special Edition. This version of the game comes in a stunning SteelBook case – packed with a voucher code for all of the pre-order items listed above.
Not only will this look awesome on your shelf, (the array of logos are on a perspex sleeve which you can remove) but this version will also come complete with a very cool ‘vinyl effect’ Blu-ray Disc (complete with the ribbed vinyl effect on the surface).

We have an alternate option for those of you new to the PS3 (and Resistance) in the form of a 320GB console packed with the standard edition of Resistance 3. Check it out below:

Nice.. shame the franchise isnt has huge has it should be.
Its gonna fade away quick a month after it hits with the start of the triple As start rolling out.
Shame really coz R1, R2 and this are alright games.

Very cool!
But…I don’t understand some of the bonuses in the Survivor Edition. Playing cards? Toy Soldiers? I understand its sort of what’s left edition (in the universe but…)
Capelli’s Journal though looks similar to Halo’s Dr Halsey journal which was fantastic, so I expect the same level of detail.

I really wish there was a version that just had the game and the journal, like Halo: Reach special that came with Dr. Halsey’s. It looks awesome, but I can’t justify that price just for the book when I need money for Uncharted 3 and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Pre-ordered the Survivor Edition on Tues night, after Insomniac announced the EU pre-orders were live.
The vinyl effect Blu-rays were a nice choice, I used to occasionally use CD’s with the vinyl effect a few years back when I was into mixing & they always looked great.

& There on the box like a wart on a face you see PSN-PASS no word of it in the post try to shrug it off by not mention it.
if the pass is like Rockstar online pass for extra contents well that would be better.
R1 Was cool set in england, R2 was awesome R3 will be epic, but hope the PSN-PASS doesn’t make it into a damp squid.

Whys all this trolling about the psn pass all it means is that you buy the game new your supporting both sony and the developers for all there hard work, so you deserve to play on there free 2 play service! But if you buy it pre owned your not supporting sony or the developers so its only fair that you pay the price, the small price it will be to play online ;

when UK retailers get these special editions they don’t do a conversion from $ to £. I thought with Infamous2 it was just play.com being greedy but now I see it has happened again with gamestation. This is a real turn off. I also want to know what retailer will be giving away the tooth neckles because that seems more appealing then the £100 survivor edition. If none of them are i’ll be super annoyed you took it out of the special edition

I’ll get the Resistance 3 Survivor Edition but $179 AUS is a bit much but hey they have being overcharging all games for years in Australia but I’ll wait until I found out who is going to be giving out the Chimera tooth necklace because I get it. (JB or Game better have it >:| )

That maybe means that you did not buy Dead Nation, you got this shared by someone else. You did not buy it I guess. And wonder why it will be no sequel to this game, because they couldnt cover the costs. I have no problem with that. The PSN Pass tlak is BS! A lot of other games have it, and you cry now? I “cried” from the start. and I have`nt purchased any game that requires a pass and I never will.
you actually think game companies can`t cover the costs? that`s absolutely hilarious and also incredibly dumb. multi billion dollar industry my friend…
reality is publishers are getting greedier and greedier. DLC is being released on same day of the game release. meaning that DLC could`ve been on the disc but no you have to pay extra.
psn games are getting more and more expensive and the exchange rate from USD to Euro is never right.
this online pass thing is just another greedy money grabbing system. we need to stop this, we need to stop it by boycotting any game that uses it.
but we never will because the world is filled with ignorant people like you that seem to like to spread their posterior cheeks. have fun with that

@ JUNO_83 Gamestation have sold out of all their stock. So they have taken it off their website. It looks like rip off Ebay will now be your only hope. I pre-ordered mine earlier this month as soon as they announced they were selling it.
