I was very happy that most of you seemed to like the last update and hope that this one will get the same reaction! Fingers crossed…
So, what do I have for you this week? Well, there’s another brand new Boney M song, in case you’re already bored of ‘Daddy Cool’, plus the one I am very excited about because it involves a Gallagher brother and most of Oasis just minus the other brother: Beady Eye with their excellent first single ‘The Roller’. ‘Ave it!
A little more ‘fun’ and a favourite because of its cringe factor has got to be ‘Jump In My Car’ by The Hoff, right? Ok, if that’s not your cup of tea then I can also offer you Jarvis and his popular beat combo Pulp with ‘Disco 2000′ or a lovely ballad by the boys from that little know band Take That?
If you’re STILL indecisive, just grab your Move controller and get stuck in with the dance add-ons for Chris Brown, OutKast or New Kids On The Block. Or if you know how to sing in Danish or in German, there’s always Sukkerchok (great name!) and Roland Kaiser respectively.

Hi Nina, the second update in a row I’m not buying anything. I’ll purchase Amy Winehouse’s song Love is a losing game, cause it’s the only one that i don’t have yet, and let her rest in peace.
Hope the next update has some songs for me

Its kinda sad when the disney sing it games have more recent songs that singstar does.
Any plans on bringing out some songs that are in the charts right now?
JLO / Pitbull / katy Perry / Jessie J – price tag .. and so on.
Those are the songs my sis sings along with when they on the radio and the songs she would like to sing at a singstar party with her friends.
Plz …. become current .. and not just the old songs.

Yes Rasputin from Boney M would be good! Also I fully expect their Christmas songs for the holidays (earlier better than later!). Now I have a question for you Nina that maybe you can help with, on the Aussie store there is a Savage Garden track “I Want You”, will we ever see it come to the other respective stores, as I would buy it.

@dandare2309, we don’t need discs, this is the age of DLC!
Nina, THANK YOU SO MUCH for Disco 2000. It is a classic! I hope this may mean you consider Pulp tracks in the future… Babies is an absolute indie CLASSIC that is a must for any indie/britpop disco, it’s great to sing and is just joyous… please consider it!
But again THANKS for Disco 2000!
May I ask why Kylie is mentioned at the end of the post? I see no Kylie tracks there…

Nooooo! Finally there’s another Danish song on the Singstore, but then it turns out to be Sukkerchok, one of the most cheesy Danish girl bands ever! Please release some cool Danish stuff in the future, like “Nephew”, “Volbeat”, Kashmir” or “Tina Dickow”…
I must say though, I love to see another Boney M song… hopes for “Gotta Go Home” next! :p

Hi Nina;
I was wondering if maybe there were any plans for some OMD. You have lots of 80′s stuff from DM and the PSB and even Erasure but none from OMD ? The have at least 10 or so excellent songs to sing along too and even their newest cd is a solid release.

Well, Boney M gives me some solace, the rest were phoned in…..
The Boney M factor is kind of making me wonder – it is clear that London Studios is getting a green light for there stuff. That being the case, for other bands that London Studios have one song published, surely other songs, either from the same albums or all their tracks, can’t be much more of a stretch.
Even with this limited scope, there must be better titles to release than this. I mean, Johnny Cash is on the Singtore, but “A Boy Named Sue” – that album must surely have better tracks on it. Ditto for dozens of other bands published. Toto & Dire Straits spring to mind immediately, too.

Hi Nina,
I can’t seem to buy any songs from the singstore. Whenever I try to add money to my account it says it can’t.
I was thinking that maybe the creditcard expired so I went to the PSN website to see if I can update the account, but it’s still under maintenance…(https://store.playstation.com/login.gvm)
Any ideas how I can solve this?
