After 130 hours in Kamurocho and countless streetfights swiftly ended with the Essence of Head Bashing, I finally got the Yakuza 4 Platinum Trophy on Wednesday night. The mission started a few months ago and, much to the credit of this excellent game, at the time of that final pling I was enjoying it as much as at the beginning.
As for my next Platinum, maybe something a bit less daunting. Anyone want to lend me Hannah Montana?

hi james can you please look at these and tell me wheres the most likely place i can write to for them to be implemented
some really cool features would be…
1.being able to rate/recommend games to certain friends through a app of some kind
2.being able to upload a picture of yourself for your avatar with an added option to report anyone that uploads inappropriate pictures
3.bullet points/underlining/colour change(text)/font size
4.upgraded friendslist so you can have a maximum of 200 friends
5.the ability to vote to kick a certain person from a text chat
6.an automated voice that says how many message you have when you logg on e.g “you currently have no new messages”

inbFamous 2 was eay to get. The blast shard collecting get less tideous since you will get an ability later on in the game. Even on hard it’s not that frustrating and playing as the other karme gives enough fun to relive the story again

Well done James! I must admit when you wanted to play Yakuza 4 to get your first platinum I thought this is going to be a tough challenge as I know how much there is to do in this game. Considering it took you 130 hours looks like I was right but I really am impressed that you stuck with it.
There are definitely other games where you can get a platinum in less than half that time…. but of course it’s pointless unless you really like that game.

I must go for that too, I’m loving this game right now, like you say such an underrated series. I was relieved to hear that it’s far easier to achieve than the plat for Yakuza 3, with was simply cruel. I still shudder at the memories of ‘Mini-game Master’ <_<

Congrats for your Plat!
If you’re looking for an easy (and quick) platinum : Terminator Salvation is the way to go. But I have to warn you the game is not very good (not awfull though).
Otherwise for quite easy and fun platinum :
- Assassin’s creed 2,
- Infamous 1 & 2,
- Darksiders,
- All god of war games (especially the 3rd : quite easy),
- Sega Megadrive (Genesis in the US) collection,
- Dead space extraction : fun and not too hard.

I agree with you James, the Yakuza series is a underrated series. Hopefully Sony and Sega market the Yakuza series more than some multiplatform games with ‘exclusive content’.

It’s easy peasy, great game too. You should give it a try, funner than Hannah Montanah I should say.
