The very first inFAMOUS 2 User-Generated Content Pack is available now on the Playstation Network, and it’s completely free! In the coming weeks and months, we will be releasing more free content updates that will add new objects to User Generated Content (UGC). In this first of many UGC updates, you’ll gain access to a number of vehicles from the single-player missions of inFAMOUS 2: Bertrand’s Limo, Bertrand’s Semi-Truck, the New Marais Police Car, the Ambulance, and a bike. Heal injured pedestrians from the flipped over ambulance and protect them from the swarm of enemies. Help the New Marais Police department from incoming attack from the Vermaak 88 Ice Soldiers. Or hunt down that pesky bicycle thief.

Over 50,000 user-created missions have been submitted to inFAMOUS 2 and you’ll need a way to find the missions you want to play. We are happy to announce Missions Search: Simply pause the game, bring up your UGC menu, and search by any term you wish, including PSN user names.

New to UGC? Be sure to check out the inFAMOUS 2 UGC tutorial videos that guide you through the tech and concepts behind great UGC missions. These tutorials will help guide you in creating missions, understanding how logic boxes work, setting waypoints, implementing triggers, and more. Hi y’all!

I was very happy that most of you seemed to like the last update and hope that this one will get the same reaction! Fingers crossed…

So, what do I have for you this week? Well, there’s another brand new Boney M song, in case you’re already bored of ‘Daddy Cool’, plus the one I am very excited about because it involves a Gallagher brother and most of Oasis just minus the other brother: Beady Eye with their excellent first single ‘The Roller’. ‘Ave it!

A little more ‘fun’ and a favourite because of its cringe factor has got to be ‘Jump In My Car’ by The Hoff, right? Ok, if that’s not your cup of tea then I can also offer you Jarvis and his popular beat combo Pulp with ‘Disco 2000′ or a lovely ballad by the boys from that little know band Take That?

If you’re STILL indecisive, just grab your Move controller and get stuck in with the dance add-ons for Chris Brown, OutKast or New Kids On The Block. Or if you know how to sing in Danish or in German, there’s always Sukkerchok (great name!) and Roland Kaiser respectively.

Greetings from San Diego and the International Comic-Con. Hopefully you caught all the cool Resistance 3 coverage from last night’s episode of Gametrailers TV. All-new and exclusive footage from St. Louis, a new cutscene showing Charlie Tent and the Remnants, and the re-imagining of the classic Breach mode that is a huge-fan favorite.

Last night, IGN Editor Colin Moriarty moderated a panel on Resistance 3 featuring Creative Director Marcus Smith, Art Director Grant Hollis, Animation Director Kevin Grow, as well as voice actor Robin Atkin Downes (Joseph Capelli) and Crispin Freeman (Charlie Tent). The panel covered the Resistance universe, showed some of the new St. Louis footage we debuted on Gametrailers TV last night, and we discussed the St. Louis level, along with its mysterious story implications about Charlie Tent and his ragtag group of rebels. And from there, we gave the audience a behind the scenes look of the motion- and performance- capture that we used to bring the characters to life in Resistance 3. Since you all couldn’t be there with us, check out this highlight video of some of the best moments from the panel.

We also announced a new online strategy game complementing Resistance 3 that will live on www.myresistance.net/global.
