“That’s a lot of posts for one week – good ones too! The last week has been a good way to ease into gamescom and next week you can expect a veritable plethora of news, interviews, pictures of sausages and videos of me shouting at people from the noisy show floor in Cologne. I know I’ve asked this dozens of times but please let me know if there are any games in particular you’d like to see us post about. I believe I have appointments for pretty much everything but there’s always one or two that slip through the blognet.

I think it’s about time we get to see some PS3 gameplay footage of Warhammer 40k Space Marine.
When are we gonna get some new music visualisers for PS3, I like the sounds of Beat Hazard Ultra and PixelJunk Lifelike, but some simple visualisers (without gameplay) from The Studio, Sound Spectrum, Plasma-Vis or San Base would be great.

I really do think my ps3 has fell out with me becauce when i play a game some times it quit back to the Xmb like it don’t like the game im playing it did this to me while saveing in tom clancys splinter cell HD and others en once in BBC iplayer i think it don’t like eastenders lol any way becauce it`s a ps2 game i never get board of doing the same thing over and over i think the splinter cell’s are better than any ps3 game ever made in facted any ps2 game is more fun?>?>

james, iv been asking real nicely for my avatar problem to be fixed. it seems only to be affecting a handfull of people, whats going on dude? is this going to be swept under carpet again? its not the end of the world for me but iv not spent a penny for months due to these persistent errors and i know im not only one! most people know by now that sony’s shares and sales have dropped big time so why are they so ignorant in solving these issues? i would imagine it will only lose more custom but most importantly the dedicated respect from us gamers.

Hey Sony,
My post is nothing to do with the blog, but I’m getting VERY frustrated with PS home’s UFC area.
All I get is Server Error when I try to play the games and as I seem to have exhausted all the other free spaces, I was hoping to do the same with UFC.
I don’t see the point in actually paying for virtual stuff, but getting the free rewards was the ONLY reason I’ve stuck with home for so long!
(Thankfully, I didn’t pay for the UFC apartment!!)
Any news on when this will get sorted? I understand this is affecting A LOT of folks……….

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Crashed while Saving And Corrupted My Save I Did’t Want To Turn Off My PS3 As I Know It Would Corrupt My Save And I Was Only 1 Level From The Finih So I Went To Bed And Left It And When I Got Up It Was Still The Same As I Left It So I Turn The PS3 Off And When I Trun It Back On It Had Corrupted The Save Date So I Started The Game Again Got To The Same Bit Where I Was Last Time And Saved Then Went To Bed When I Got Up And Turn My PS3 On And Went Back On I Knocked Out A Guard And Then Some More And Then A Lot More And Then Saved (CRASH) I Left It For Around 30mins Still The Same Turn Off PS3 (Corrupted Save Date) When I Turn On The Ps3 I Loaded It Back Up And Started Playing It From The Begining Agian! And After Two Mission It Gose Back To The XMB You May Think Im Going To Give Up But No Im Going To Destory My Game Save Date Before It Dose And HardCore Game Into The Night On Hard With Out Saving Full STOP

Found Why It Some Times Takes You To The XMB Menu Its When You Save And Press The PS Button Its Like The XMB Menu Gets Saved In As Well And Loads Up So When I Die I Will Go To The XMB Menu And Allso The Save Crash It Happens When You Do A Duble Save Like Just After Autosave And You Keep Pressing The Quick save More Than Once It Crash Becuce You Notice The QuickSAve Box Dose Not Come Up And Then When You Do Get It To Come Up It Will Crash (oh and i backed Up the save that takes you to the XMB on plus.

Sony pull your thumb out of your as$ and fix the web browser, it is now impossible to watch anything on the 4od app because the web browser collapses and says “there is not enough memory. the window content was replaced with a blank page.”
I will spam your blog and get others too help if it isnt fixed.

i love ps3 but have to point out that if xbox360 had a web browser it would make it better than ps3s internet browser because they would have microsofts internet explorer 8 not some shoddy custom 1 that doesn’t let you go on facebook even though ps3 has facebook features for trophies and the photo thing..why have features if you cant use the actual site?

maby its your conection thats making your browser slow…. my conection is 100% and its verry quik: freezes a few time but that happens on games also. but yea they must put facebook on here…i mean comon facebook on phones but not a ps3? LOL! well maby the ps vita will have a better internet browser because its gonna have facebook…i mean comon all phones have it! and its anoying for thoose like me who dont have a pc are stuck with there ps3s browser, although myne is prety good
