If you are like us and your world revolves around mainly sun and music, September can be a little depressing. It’s pretty much the end of the summer and festival season. Well we can’t do anything about the weather, we tried, but it turns out that shouting at rain doesn’t make it go away, but we can extend the festival season just a little bit by holding our very own month long, rain proof festival! No tents, no dodgy food, no mud, just great music.
We will be featuring a new stage every week throughout September starting with the Superstar Stage. A stage for all the biggest acts in the world to show what they really have. The likes of Beyonce, Pitbull, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Kasabian and loads more to keep you bouncing up and down in the comfort of your own home. Next week… Air Guitar Stage with the Foo Fighters, Anthrax and all your other guitar hero’s.
Of course that’s not all, please take a look what else we have for you over the next couple of weeks by simply reading on.

Hi ASTRA_GSI_MKIII
You are asking the wrong people I’m afraid. VidZone is a company that works with Sony juston VidZone so can’t help with game based issues.
Sorry, you should check out VidZone while you wait for the issue to be fixed
though, if you like music videos that is.

Great, but WHEN is the new Playstation 3 Headset with 7:1 sound out in Europe? Can you please give a date?
It’s already available in US. Need!

Hi Argast
Again, we aren’t actually Sony so I do not know. I wish I did because that does sound very cool!
When you get them you should listen to VidZone. Although we can’t offer 7.1 sound as yet!

Nirvana – 20th Anniversary of Nevermind for me
I’ll wait out for the Air Guitar Stage, me thinks!
Never really got into rock music when I was younger, but listen to it alot now. As i’m getting older i’m starting to appreciate a wider scope of genres!
Still love listening to MJ though

Hi Ben,
Any chance you could let me know about the video issues I mentioned in your last 2 threads? Those vids still do not work for me (I checked again a minute ago), so what happens now, please?
Also, as a special favour to me, please, during the next scheduled update get rid of the awful “CLUNK!” noise as it loads. And perhaps a splash of colour while it loads new content – the grey doesn’t do the service justice as on XMB it’s vibrant blue and once loaded it’s always bright colours. Just thoughts worth considering

Hi G2OWLY
Ok, what must have happened is that you have managed to cache (temporarily store) the non working video so it plays that version when you try to play them. What you can do to fix this is from your XMB go to GAME –> Game Data Utility –> VidZone, then press triangle and select “Delete”. This should delete all your cached videos and so it will pull the right file from our servers the next time you play.
As for the ideas abou tthe look and feel/noises, noted, we do take everyone’s opinion into account and are always trying to develop ways to make things nicer for our users.
If you have any more issues please do email ps-problems@vidzone.tv, it’s a lot easier for us to manage as we don’t have to try to search through posts and find issues which means issues do get fixed a lot quicker.
Hope that helps.
Ben

Any chance of getting Slipknot and Stone Sour on VidZone? Almost all of my favourite bands are on with the exception of these guys, would be greatly appreciated if you can post back or send me a message with a response.
Cheers.

Hey TrueMurton
We are trying to get both of those as they are both popular requests, we will keep trying until we have everyone!!!

So nothing good this week?
I guess it’s not VidZone’s fault that the majority of music sucks these days.
