As Road of Devastation begins, you (and your partner if co-op) escape from a laboratory and find yourself at a crossroads leading to three different roads. Each road has its own perks and dangers lying in wait – with different environments, items and enemies for you to discover. Choose your road, and let the devastation begin…
New weapons.
Road of Devastation will give players several new tools and ways to dispose of enemies with. And not just something you can carry with you but also elements found in the environment.
Electrified fences will fry anything that touches them when you turn the power on, so keep your distance and timing right.
Eat 1.21 Gigawatts!!
You may even get to operate heavy-duty industrial saws – perfect for disposing masses of zombies with (personal safety measure – keep your distance from the cutting end while operating heavy industrial equipment).
A new heavy weapon you can carry with you comes with a computer assisted, automated targeting system – more details about this high-tech equipment will be revealed in the very near future…
Enemies evolve.
As the virus evolves, so do the enemies. Road of Devastation will put your skills to the ultimate test as enemy waves start growing and growing in numbers, and getting more and more aggressive…
The virus has now also begun to infect even plant life – be careful when treading plant-infested environments. As you wade through areas with heavily overgrown plant life, you can make your way through by destroying the overgrowth that blocks your progress.
But beneath the ground, masses of buried corpses, all but decomposed have now fused with infected plant life. When these monstrous atrocities burst from amidst the plants, you’ll notice they have no problem treading the infested terrain as they make their way toward you.
Even plant life has been infected by the virus.
In the original game the Mouth’s loud screams alerted walking corpses from the nearby area to your position, but a well-placed shot was all that was needed to stop it from screaming. But it’s back with a vengeance…
“Big Mouth” – true to its name – will have you running and gunning while it lets out its gargantuan scream, unstoppable, summoning its minions straight from hell, from right below your very feet.
Big Mouth calls its minions to the surface – you’re on the menu.
New rules.
In order to become the ultimate zombie killing machine you must master the arts of death completely – this time you will be rewarded for pulling off different levels of multikills, making constant tactical decisions based on new money, score and other collectible mechanics, etc.
Execute multikills for new bonus rewards.
Road of Devastation features both single player and two player co-op modes (online and offline), as well as a new set of Trophies to get. Prepare to experience Dead Nation in a brand new way in Road of Devastation, scheduled for release on September 28th.
Keep up the fight, your country needs you!

Now, if only you could provide me the money to buy this, the infamous and dragon age dlc’s, not to mention all the retail games coming out in the next few months, that would be much appreciated…
But seriously, this looks wicked awesome!

One of the most fun arcade gameplay experiences I’ve ever played on PS3 is Dead Nation. I’ll be first on the virtual que for this, as said, bring it on!
Kudos to these guys for such a great title, they deserve to do well with this next installment.

Hi there!
I’m really looking forward to playing this DLC but I’d just like to know, since you haven’t announced the price yet, if it is going to be a payed DLC or a free one.
I’d like to know that since I’m trying to not spend too much on games and if this is indeed going to be priced, I must re-organize my “to-buy list”.
Anyway, to the entire team : You’ve done a great job!

Didn’t read the whole thing due to lots of spoilers, but this is a must-have!
Perfect timing as well: played it twice through in online coop with a friend, now finishing Morbid in solo – gets pretty intense -, and should have the plat trophy by the time this is released.
That’s if all my time isn’t taken over by Space Marine

all the ppls who are asking for it free or at a discount with plus….. come on guys i will enjoy giving my money to these guys as they had to have lost some money by putting dead nation up for free as part of the PSN outage welcome back pack…. even if sony had compansated them it wouldnt be near the same amount as if every1 who had it free would have paid……
so im glad to give them the full amount and every1 else should be to there a cracking dev and i hope this is not the only DLC for this game and i do want a sequel hopefuly a fuly fleshed out game on a disk as this game has bags more awsomeness than half the disk based games that are gracing our shelves…….
will but for howevermuch day 1 guys now wheres my proxxy mines lol best weapon in the game period!!!!!!!!!!!

by the discription,ie 3 roads/paths to venture along, there souds like a good amounnt of playability, and if the price i seen in previous post is right then i cannot understand how you’s can/have managed this?.. Shame on other devs etc, also ignore those people who are asking for this for free,.. like was said earlier, you’s really should consider making a sequal aimed towards disc market,as i’ve every confidence that it would be a winner, thnx for DN and best wishes for future.

@UIUoOoUIU why do you plus members expect to get new stuff for free? this is new stuff and the company need to make money off it so no it wont be free, as usual plus members will probably get a discount
