Hey there PlayStation Assassins!
We have something really exciting to announce today: thanks to a special partnership with Sony, we are offering a full version of the original Assassin’s Creed for free if you’re one of the first to buy Assassin’s Creed Revelations! Supplies are somewhat limited, however, so you’ll need to act quickly (pre-ordering might help ;D) in order to take advantage of this special offer.
As you know, Assassin’s Creed Revelations will see Ezio follow in the footsteps of the legendary Assassin Mentor Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad on a quest to understand the true nature of what it means to be an Assassin. To prepare you for this journey, we thought it might be a good idea for you to have the game that started it all on-hand just in case you needed a quick refresher on Altaïr’s history.
To further ensure that you are completely up to date on the lore of Assassin’s Creed, we’ll also be discounting Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood by 30% in the PlayStation Store!
Vittoria agli Assassini!

Your blog post is short on the details. Is it a disc version of AC or are you implying it comes as a coded dl’(If it’s the disc version then my hands up first for the much vaunted, very limited edition that came with an Atair figurine, but somehow I think if it was a disc, it would come a la vanille)?. Do pre-orderers of any of the several C.E.s of the game come first with getting codes/discs? And slightly off topioc, but which is the best C.E. to get of AC:R? There’s the Animus Edition, there’s the break the seal edition, there’s the Templar edition that comes with an Ezio Figurine(only available in Ezio’s greater Homeland)and there’s a C.E. that Gamestop have in U.S. with an ezio action figure and the complementary(another)capering crusador’s batwing flying apparatus au Leonardo(AC:B will get that last sentance). Which one one is best for the discerning Collecteur? and lastly, even more off topic, but for 2012 Ubi, please AC3 set in Paris circa 1789 please. You owe it to yourselves & to us to recreate Paris avant Haussmann.

Addendum: Just checked the US Blog and it clearly states that AC will be bundled onto the BD of AC:R. Don’t see why it need be so limited, unless one is creating the hype to get worried and in some cases frantic gamers instore or online preordering one of probably many copies in order to sell more units in a very crowded market this year. Well my surmane is greek and it translates as priest from Constantinople. This priest is looking forward to walking the footsteps of my forefathers in this most greek of cities. Hagia Sophia the giant and ancient Basilica of Holy Wisdom will be one fun challenge to parkour. Who knows, maybe my fore father was a simple priest in a chapel in Constantinople, tho I like to imagine he could have been the Episkopos (arch-bishop)or maybe a Metropolitan or Patriarch. Alas my neck has folded in half thru lack of muscular support due to the size my head has blown up to with all of these self-agrandising reveries. Someone get a pin…

I played the AC:R multipayer demo, but I felt too much the same as the AC:B multipayer which I didn’t like so much.
So I’m gonna skip this one unless it has a really strong SP.

@sjw17
Perhaps you are right and I shouldn’t skip the game just because the MP isn’t what I like.
I have to agree the SP was great for previous “episodes”.

That would be a good argument for pre-ordering… if there were trophies
