Hi Ben, great update. Nirvana, Kasabian, Chemicals and Daft Punk. My playlist currently over 750 tracks, about to get bigger it seems.
Keep up the good work.

Hi PFC_Hudson
Haha… Ok ok… Sometimes we have to flip images around to make them work… Should have known our beady eyed blog fans spot everything.
I hope you can forgive us

Quick question/request.
What are the chances of getting Slipknot and/or Stone Sour on vidzone? Almost all of my favourite bands have at least some presence on there, just need these guys to complete the set.
Posted on 22 September, 2011 at 5:56 pm by Ben Creasey
Hey TrueMurton
A popular request both of them… Unfortunately the label they are on we haven’t got a license agreement with. We have been talks with them since launch so hopefully we will soon get them on board so we can fill in all the gaps we have in our catalogue.
Thanks for the request

Please get a grip of the adverts on Vidzone, at times its driving me away and also certainly NOT selling me the product. The other week you got to play 1 song before it subjected you to the same movie advert 4 times in a row. Play another song, then same ad again 4 times……and repeat.
Posted on 22 September, 2011 at 5:53 pm by Ben Creasey
Hi Gillyallen
We try to control adverts as much as possible and when possible, deliver you different adverts as we know serving the same adverts over and over isn’t helpful to anyone and annoys the hell out of our users. We do have targets to keep so sometimes advert frequency does have to be upped but we do aim to keep all our users happy because if you all went away, we would have no service at all, and that is the worst thing that could happen for everyone.
We are always looking for ways to keep everyone happy, sorry of we have angered you at all with the frequency of ads we will try not to do it again.
Btw, if you persuade all your friends to give VidZone a go then we will have more users to advertise to therefore you will have to watch less… so get shouting about VidZone

Hi Ben,
Is there any news on Lena?
And why is the Big time rush boyfriend video not available in The netherlands?
(I am asking this for my little sister).
Last but not least is Kabasian any good, because I have never heard of them before.
Posted on 23 September, 2011 at 11:39 am by Ben Creasey
Hi devilwithoutfear
No luck I’m afraid, sometimes labels just don’t want to come on board. That doesn’t mean we won’t keep trying. It’s amazing how many labels change their mind.
Big Time Rush, Not sure why no Netherlands license, sometimes it takes a few weeks for all licenses to come through from the labels so hopefully we should have it soon.
Kasabian, yeah very good, I think you should try them out, not everyone’s cup of tea but very popular here in the UK.

Or why doesn’t Vidzone use a paid subscription?
That way they won’t need to watch the ”annoying” adds.
and then have a price reduction for PSN+ users.

im liking the rock amigo but one thing thats a little annoying is the competitions, why facebook? i have a good reason i dont use that rubbish its kinda unfair. i was also really naft at the starwars comp for the collection, got all exited then found out i had to enter through the devils home(facebook)
Posted on 23 September, 2011 at 11:58 am by Ben Creasey
Hi JudgeHustler
Sorry about this, there is a way to enter outside of Facebook, we have a micro sight for most of the competitions we run and you can also enter some on Twitter (if you think that tweet is less evil). The micro site for the Nirvana Comp is http://tiny.cc/voal9 and the Playstation move comp link is http://tiny.cc/nwuoj
I have spoken to our social media manager and he agrees that we should make the micro site link a bit more prominent in future competitions so our non Facebookers don’t feel left out. It’s very easy to assume everyone is on Facebook but this obviously isn’t the case.
Apologies and get entering!

If my fellow VidZoners would like to know what Trance music is then google or youtube (because they’re not on VidZone, yet) these artists Mirco de Govia, Solarstone and Airwave.

Yeah, awesome some good old Nirvana, and I agree with the fact that we need songs from artists on Roadrunner Records, there’s a lot of them; atm I’m digging Triviums’s new stuff.

NO! NO! NO!!! if you wanna see real talent screw the x factor, screw r’n'b and screw chart music. go for the 90′s like “i’m a dreamer” or “come with me” or “set you free” and many others the list is endless! avril is for kids aswel as miley whats her face. and for crying out loud get some more rave, hardcore and dance PLEASE!!! you have no basshunter, not enough blackout crew, not enough darren styles or ultrabeat, not enough rave music, not enough hardcore music, not enough dance music and don’t say you can’t cos you already got the “all around the world” label music on there. strong message i know but i’m fed up with constant crap here, there and everywhere. it would be great to ignore the rubbish and get some “real music” in! there’s my rant!
