@immortal wolf… i know that, i just thought you might of had a sense of humour, you know psn making activision wait for a month etc, instead of them making ps3 owners wait a month for every dlc, also i hope your not under the impression that bieng/joining the elite ‘scheme’ is going to change that, are you,?…… anyway i thought i was bieng funny, Without bieng so at no-one’s expense, just wish i’d of read this sooner as theres little chance of anyone seeing it now..
Finally i don’t think the dlc’s for cod matter that much to psn, ye i know they sell a lot, but believe me i doubt sce would miss any profits they make from them that much,… well certainly nowhere near the amount you seem to think that they’d suffer losing, i’m sure they make and sell other ‘stuff’ as well as cod dlc’s or elite promotions,

i dont get why spyro was made by insomniac 1 of playstations finest game studios n yet we still dont have the games here on the eu store

Sorry 4 the delay, i’ve been poorly.

DICE confirmed texture pack for PS3 only just like the RAGE texture pack & believe me it will make the game look fantastic! The pack with RAGE is great once the textures have loaded & there is a big difference between the 360 version & the PS3 with texture pack installed. i’ve seen both versions as my brother-in-law has RAGE for his 360.

It’s not all about looks, but it helps though eh? lol

MW3 still looks great though but expensive if u want the whole experience with Elite (Glorified Stats Website) as BF3 has free battlelog which is the same but obviously we’ll have 2 pay for our cheaper map packsas £11.49 is beyond a joke! Would u really pay close to £100 just to play a good game? Good for u if u do but no thanks from me. £39.99 for a proper Battlefield game with vehicles & realistic warfare other than the usual *YAWN* infantry only shooter.

Don’t get me wrong, I know graphics don’t make a game, I just thought that I was buying a super-console when purchasing my PS3, and I’ve been wanting a game that stands out from it’s 360 version coz to be honest I’ve not come across anything that does. Only Uncharted 3 has shown me a little promise that we’re gonna get something on PS3 that looks high-end graphically compared to anything on 360.

There you have it in playstation store today told you Activision will have ago at playstation network for not mentioning how EL73 Elite Works as i already have my EL73 Elite account since 27th may 2011 iv been chosen by activision to represent british EL73 Elite as my Black Ops stats are favourite weapon CZ75 4.000 kills with 25.08% accuracy When it comes to Call of Duty Games Im Elite and Activision knows it.

Sorry Catkiller1 as you didn’t know EL73 Elite is free to sigh free you herd right free the EL73 Elite premium subscription is £34.99 = all MW3 DLC maps free with EL73 Elite premium. cheaper as 1st MW3 DLC map pack is £14.99

@immortal wolf… i allready told you that it would happen, you might of missed my 1st post to you no27.. as i never mentioned your id, just your post number, 24,(i think) yeah it only got announced late last week, so the later stuff rarely gets a mention in the weekly blog round up…. i’d still like to know what the deal is if you just get Elite off buying the Hardened edition though,? as my nephew is a cod only gamer so i don’t know if i should get the store Elite and a normal copy of MW3, or if the Hardened is as good for him… what do you think,?.

I would purchase the Hardened Edition if I was you, as it’s a no-brainer if you’re going to get the Elite anyway.

The Elite package is the same with Hardened, as it is on the store. The difference with the Hardened Edition is you get extras & you can pick this up for £78.85 on shopto.net!

I’m just going to stick with the Vanilla version

i’m getting the vanilla..lol..flavour for myself. but i heard something about founders status if you get Elite off store, which the Hardened edition box never mentioned, so am not sure, like i said my nephew dosn’t play nothing else but cod, so i’d like to get him the most suitable,..early chrimbo pressie, as i couldn’t make him wait till the big day for this.

I think your forgetting this is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and price £45 or some shops £50 reason Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 so expensive it is the real combat simulation reason Call of Duty Elite was made for Call of Duty Black Ops & Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Mmmm, interesting, I’m still not sure MW3 is gonna be worth all that money tho, what are the odds on it NOT being hacked by december? Also, say I bought hardened ed on PS3, would I have to wait to download my pre-paid dlc for 30 days AFTER it appears on 360? I’ve always believed dlc should be FREE. I know it can cost £millions to program a game like COD, but the cost to actually get it it on disc??? £40 for a game is a lot, it should last at least 12month without needing to buy ‘extra maps’. If 20 maps have been developed then it should ship with 20 maps, not ”10 now, pay for 10 later”

yeah i only want to play the SP and the spec-ops mostly, (there back right,?) i will have a mess about on the multi but it’s not really my thing, mostly cos of the hacking, or ending up in to many games where the players are jumping about like kangaroo’s,?… but i suppose thats the only way some people can play…. i found myself in a boss game one night though, some clan match who were using knives only, even though i got totally slaughtered it was still quite good to see….. Anyway it looks like i can’t get a answer for my question, or i haven’t made it clear enough,?… as i said i just want the best mix of elite and game for my neph and cost isn’t a issue, in that i will pay whatever i need to for it, what is a ‘founder status’ anyway,?. i mean it has to mean something or it wouldn’t be on the add in the stores discription… but it dosn’t mention it on the game shops advert (for hardened)……….. knowing activision i’m gonna have to buy the hardened and get the store elite preorder for him.

No direspect, but COD has always been £45, unless you pick it up from a supermarket on a day 1 offer like I did, at Sainsburys for £25!

Wouldn’t say it’s a real combat simulation, but if you feel that way then that’s great for you

I can get MW3 for £28, from a friend who is entitled to staff discounts, so i’m happy with that!
