NEXT WEEK
Well you know we said we had something special to announce soon? Well it does mean we will be scaling back our update for this week as we have to get everything ready in time for the thing that I can’t tell you about (wow this is very frustrating not being able to tell you). Don’t worry, we will have some updates for all the brand new videos coming out but it won’t be as “epic” as our usual weekly upload. Don’t worry, it will be worth it and I am sure you all can wait just a little bit until we can reveal all.
Remember; keep your eyes on our Facebook and Twitter for announcements!
I’m off to lock myself away so I don’t get tempted to tell you what it is…

Sorry for my off-topic question here, but is there any chance that artists like Green Day, Simple Plan, Matt Willis, etc. may be added to Vidzone in the nearest future?
I’m not the person that listens to the ‘everyday’ music and enjoys many styles already avaible on Vidzone, but I would love to hear more from these artists than what Vidzone offers at this time being.
Regards,
Caltson

Hi caltson
No problem for the off topic questions. We would honestly love to bring you those videos and we are trying, but label negotiations are long and complicated. But don’t worry, we have a patient and intelligent team on it constantly to get as many videos as we can.
Keep checking back for updates, hopefully we will bring you the bands you love soon.

Saw Nero at the O2 Academy in Newcastle last week and they were unbelievable. Really looking forward to seeing them live again on VidZone.
Thanks VidZone team!

What are the chances that we ever get the ability to just browse all music videos? Right now I have to go to search -> artist -> enter letter A and search. and do this for B till Z. Why is there no simple Browse all function. Maybe even something like “Browse all by release year” etc.

will their be a chance of getting some real music on vidzone? not everybody likes the rubbish modern music that is all this thing keeps talking about, alright there was a bit of iron maiden which is good, but what about the other great groups? Megadeth, judas priest, black sabbath? this should be a channel to please everybody’s musical taste, even if it’s popularity isn’t very high
Posted on 21 October, 2011 at 1:43 pm by Ben Creasey
Hi Maddogarchie64
we do have videos from all the bands you mention, you have to search for them currently as we aren’t featuring them but i can assure you they are there.
Thanks
Ben

@maddog
Metal fans are seriously under-catered for outside of certain countries. Most music services take the quick and easy route to the lowest common denominator as “stuff the majority like” rather than go to the lengths to genuinely please everyone.
Would love to see Megadeth, Anthrax, Slipknot, Stone Sour and more make it onto Vidzone, but there as to be a combined effort from both Vidzone and the music labels for this to happen, until then there’s Youtube.
Posted on 21 October, 2011 at 1:46 pm by Ben Creasey
Hi TrueMurton
We are working with the labels who have the likes of Slipknot etc as we feel they would be a real boost to our service. Unfortunately label negotiations are long and complicated, but we have patient and intelligent people working on it.
Oh and as I said above we do have Megadeath videos, you just have to search for them.
Thanks
