Episode 5 of Access is now online and available right here for your viewing pleasure. Pleasure being the operative word, because heading the line-up this week is EA’s eye-meltingly beautiful first-person destruct ‘em up, Battlefield 3.
The rest of the show is also stuffed with hi-def excellence, including an inside look at the recent Access Live event in Bristol, a round up of the latest news and all the best content from the PlayStation Store, including hot servings of DLC for both Resistance 3 and Dragon Age 2.
There’s also a sneak-peak at upcoming short film, The Hero’s Journey – directed by Blood Diamond’s Ed Zwick and featuring Naughty Dog‘s Amy Hennig, and Uncharted star, Nolan North.
To watch Access before anyone else, UK users can download each episode for free every Wednesday from the PlayStation Store, with every show then uploaded to YouTube every Friday.

How about you give the EU customers an update on when exactly PAYDAY : The Heist might be showing up?
We were told it would be this week but it no showed in the EU?
Perhaps you could give us an update rather then posting this useless guff for a change.
Did you guys not learn anything about customer communication after the PSN Hack Disaster?

Hey Blastiel, I’d love to help you out chap – I work for SCE UK and not the SCEE store team unfortunately. The best place to ask this question would be on the weekly PlayStation Store Update post.

Doesn’t it look drop-dead-gorgeous? I tried to book time off to play it on release day, my manager clocked-on instantly. Not fair!

I gave it a shot recently. I felt like La Forge out of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Looking forward to getting my mitts on it when it hits the shelves.

@Blastiel
Can you, and other blog commenters like you stop posting completely unrelated and useless posts in reply to something most people here are interested in watching/reading?
This post had nothing about “Payday” in the title. Why did you even click on this post if that’s what you were looking for?!

..because you can’t get an answer if you DO post in the right place.
SCEE staying quite on this is just silly. Give people an answer and there wouldn’t be a ned for people to make the posts in the first place!

just to the guy who told someone to stop posting here over unrelated topics ie Payday.. i think that was the wrong thing to say… and i have to say i’m dissapointed by MB’s reply to that same post, ie this is sce-UK … i enquired a few weeks ago if this Access deal had any kind of freedom in what they show, in that could/would they be able or willing to include a short piece involving the ‘ordinary customers/gamers views and opinions about things Such as the service (or lack of) they feel they recieve from the psn store UK or EU, i got no answer so i presume that a piece like that wouldn’t be ‘Suitable’ for the Access show, which imo is a shame,.. i mean imagine a show for gamers that actually stood up and supported gamers, yeah be awsome right,?….. still i do like the show apart from that minor (lol) missing element… i’d love to also try one of those new 3d viewers, and get info on price/release date etc.anyone know, as when i click the link it just takes me to sony shop (no info though).
