Hi everyone, I’m the European Producer Manager for Medieval Moves.
Ahead of the game’s launch next week, why not get your hands on the awesome Medieval Moves demo, out today on PlayStation Store.
Medieval Moves is an exciting first-person action adventure, brought to you by Zindagi Games and San Diego Studio (the team behind Sports Champions).
In Medieval Moves, the evil wizard Morgrimm has turned you into a skeleton, captured your castle and will transform your entire kingdom into an undead army – unless you stop him.
With the precision of the PlayStation Move motion controller, get ready to swing your sword, fling throwing stars and draw your bow and arrow, switching weapons with ease.
I hope you enjoy the demo. And remember, as hordes of Morgrimm’s bony minions descend upon you, this is just a taster of the frantic combat coming in the full game next week!
Be sure to check out eu.playstation.com to find out more about Medieval Moves.

You say ‘first-person’ but screens seem to show third-person view. Looks interesting and need something to blow cobwebs off my Move controller. Navigation controller support? 3D?

I played the demo very impressive although the on-rails nature of it is a little disappointing.
I’m happy to see some slick implementation of the move controller at last.

It’s mostly first-person with shifts of camera during specific scenes. No navigation controller needed, but there’s 3D support. Have fun!

Is this related to the amazing Medieval series?

If you are referring to the ‘MediEvil’ series, then no, this game is not connected with that.

Unluckily no Nav support…. you are on rails… i seriously hope Sony is doing a real AAA adventure game with Nav support…. (make.believe…. :/)
The other thing that confused me is: my PSEye is under the TV and every game works well with that configuration…
Medieval for a unknown reason does not…. the sword reacts perfectly when I am standing, but the arch, when I aim, I always have to aim a lot higher then my TV….. if I sit down, then the aim works better… as if my PSEye HAS to be over the TV to work well while standing…. (??)
The same goes for the shuriken, i have to sit or the aim doesn’t work properly… weird because in the Sports Champion demo, the frisbee worked well, much better then the shurikens….
I tried to recalibrate 3 times, no difference….

I’d recommend checking the angle of the camera and making sure that you are in the centre of the picture whilst calibrating. Hope that helps.

Can you use two Moves with it if you want?
Posted on 9 November, 2011 at 10:17 am by Maria Dixon
Yes, there is optional dual controllers per player supported.

I played the demo last week, It was excellent. I am shocked the game hasn’t had more publicity. I hope it sells well. It deserves it.

Can you get Cambridge Studio to make a new MediEvil for PS3 then

I was really looking forward to this, when I first saw the trailers many months ago. But as soon as I found out it was on rails, the hype died for me. It looks so amazingly fun, but having an adventure game using the navigation controller as well as the move controller would be so amazing. Please, please, please make a game like that.

It’s only £16 on amazon.co.uk which is amazing for a new game. Will definitely check out the demo with big interest.
