In a worldwide exclusive, the TEKKEN team have today released the first 7 minutes of much anticipated, feature length 3D CG movie TEKKEN Blood Vengeance exclusively via the TEKKEN channel on YouTube. The screening will run for 7 days, starting today and ending on Thursday 24th November.
TEKKEN Blood Vengeance digs deeper into the corrupt underbelly of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Ling Xiaoyu and Alisa Bosconovitch and uncovers dark secrets that could destroy the Mishima family for ever, but will they survive long enough to reveal all?
“There’s a lot that TEKKEN fans will learn when they watch TEKKEN Blood Vengeance, and I’m excited to give people this sneak preview,” said Katsuhiro Harada, TEKKEN Project Leader at NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. “The film is a taste of the future for the TEKKEN franchise and I really want you all to watch it!”
The movie footage features the English VO, but if you click on the CC button on the bottom right of the video frame you can access subtitles for French, Italian, German and Spanish, as well as Japanese, Russian, Korean and Chinese.
TEKKEN Blood Vengeance is set to feature on next week’s PS3 release TEKKEN Hybrid. TEKKEN Hybrid comprises three great pieces of TEKKEN content with 3D CG movie TEKKEN Blood Vengeance, the classic TEKKEN Tag Tournament remastered in HD, and an exclusive prologue to TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 which is currently only available in arcades across Japan and some countries in Asia.
For TEKKEN fans everywhere, TEKKEN Hybrid is an absolute must-have.

Out next week? Oh no, I thought that was it for games I want this year! That’s a bit sneaky, I thought it was way off… I think it will have to be one for my Christmas list as I’ve got Skyrim, BF3, MW3, U3, Batman, Saints Row 3, and tooooo many other awesome games to complete.
Is there a Collector’s Edition for this? I find it increasingly difficult to track when and where each one is being released these days… missed Resistance 3 one due to poor advertising but was lucky to get Uncharted 3′s one has become my favourite collector’s edition ever… the chest now holds 19 of my PS3 games, LOVELY!

I see the dialogue is as smart, witty and punchy as ever.

@3 While this might be a film isn’t the only way to buy it in the form of Tekken Hybrid; outside perhaps a DD source such as the PS Movie store?
Technically he’s right besides they do mention in the last paragraph that a game and a half do come with the film or the film with the 1.5 games whichever way you want to look at it.
Also there’s a collector’s edition but I believe it’s limited to NA. You’re not missing much unless you’re in for an artbook.

I somehow managed to watch 4 minutes of it before the monotony killed my brain. Not my kind thing, and no where near the overall quality of the Final Fantasy movie, but I guess some people will enjoy it.

Is there a downloadable HD link to it?

Seems my insults to post number 3 have been “moderated” or “censored”.
To re-iterate: Victor****ogy you should read the post before taking the mickey. Tekken Hybrid is a pack with the film, a game, and a demo of a forthcoming game. As mentioned in the post. You really put the **** in ****ogy.

Haha, I never knew that my name would get censored. Silly Sensitive Sony.
You don’t need to post insults though. A simple correction will do. I apologise. I didn’t realise that the film was part of this “Tekken Hybrid” collection thing. In my defence, the clip was so mind-numbingly stupid that my brain must have temporarily switched off to prevent further damage.
Let me return the compliment by saying that you put the Bum in Bumblebee.

No subtitles? Thank you for not caring for the deaf(hearing impaired gamers. And yes I’m whining about this cause I want to raise the awareness of this group of players.

Definitely a must-have. Not just for the movie but finally a 60hz version of Tag 1 as well. And TTT2 Prologue should be a good warm up for Tag 2 and the new system as well.

Ha! Victor, that was a brilliant comeback.
I censored your name myself by the way.
Brilliant comeback though, well played!
Anyone wanting Tekken Hybrid, Gamestop UK are doing it for just over twenty quid at £20.97! Cheapest I found. Couldn’t resist at that price, even though I’m more of a Virtua Fighter & Mortal Kombat man… Tekken 3 was my favourite back in the day but it’s not reached those dizzy heights since. Tekken 6 was plain awful, it looked like a PS2 game… but I have high hopes for the future of the series.
Anyway, here’s the link to Gamestop:

Oh man, those seven minutes have completely made me reconsider buying this. Not in a good way. The voices are terrible and the story is Japanese. At some point there will be a flash of underwear, plenty of rubbish jokes, and perhaps robot rape, or a tentacle of some kind finding it’s way up some girls skirt.

Don’t know where you get your game info from, but you have to do some research & actually read first LOL
The only release is called Tekken Hybrid, which includes Tekken Tag Tournament HD, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue & the Vengeance movie! ROFL

@Catkiller1: Nice response but a bit lacking in all-caps. Not sure the message will penetrate tbh. A valiant effort nonetheless.

Just to reiterate ladies & gentlemen, you may purchase the Tekken Hybrid collection for £20.97 from Gamestop, following Bumblebees link above!
The description states: massive combination of Tekken action, Tekken Hybrid includes the full-length 3D compatible feature film Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D on Blu-Ray disc as well as two games playable on PlayStation 3: Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue.
So if you kindly read the description, you’ll see this is a great deal
