The FIFA Interactive World Cup 2012 kicks off TODAY.
Do you think you have what it takes to beat the best players on earth and be crowned the World Champion? As well as this the FIWC12 Grand Prize includes $20,000 in prize money, the FIFA Interactive World Player award and a VIP trip to the FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala. Worth putting your skills to the test don’t you think?
Last year we saw 16 year old Francisco Cruz take the trophy home to Portugal, this year it could be going home with you…
Six online seasons, six chances to win
Show players from all over the world what you can do. The top two players from each of the six FIWC12 online seasons will qualify for the Grand Final. Of course, one of the key elements of the FIWC is fair play, so all players will begin each online season with zero points. So don’t be put off if you don’t get through in the first season, try again!
As there is such huge demand for places in Online Season 1 there will be an extra six days to qualify also if you register for season 1 you will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a flight, accommodation and an invitation for you and a friend to the FIFA Ballon D’ors. Fancy rubbing shoulders with Messi or Rooney? Register NOW
| Online Season 1 | 1-31 December, 2011 |
| Online Season 2 | 5 January-25 January, 2012 |
| Online Season 3 | 1 February-25 February, 2012 |
| Online Season 4 | 1 March-25 March, 2012 |
| Online Season 5 | 1 April-25 April, 2012 |

It’s funny how you are not able to play online if you are less than 18 old and the FIWC is won by a 16 years old guy.
ATTENTION, do not misunderstand me, please! I’m Portuguese and I’m very very happy that the winner is Portuguese but I believe that we all must agree that something was ‘illegal’ in here, even though I do not agree that less than 18yo aren’t allowed to play online. EASports should change that, since they allow a 16yo to win their biggest online competition!
I wish all the best to Francisco, he certainly was a fair winner and it’s amazing that he’s Portuguese, good luck to him if he’s competing again this year!
