Time for some Friday fisticuffs now, as Access Episode 11 drops onto YouTube starring Soul Calibur V as Game of the Week. In a thorough hands-on with Namco-Bandai’s sidestepping brawler, the team try out the fresh-faced trio of newcomers that is Patroklos, Leixia and Natsu, plus get stabby with guest star Ezio Auditore. Don’t worry – old favourites Mitsurugi and Voldo are given worryingly special attention too.
Elsewhere on the show, Access pays a visit to Special Effect – a gaming charity set up to help disabled gamers play the games they love by making custom-built controllers. Charity founder Dr. Mick Donegan gives us the lowdown on the work the organisation has already been doing, plus you can hear how Prime Minister David Cameron got thrashed by racing enthusiast Shaz Hossain.
Access also chats to trouble-happy twins James and Oliver Phelps – otherwise known as Fred and George Weasely from the Harry Potter movies – as we celebrate the launch of The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on blu-ray. You’ll never guess what James (or is it Oliver?) nominated for his favourite ever game. No really, you never will.
As always, there’s a glossy hi-def roundup of the best PS3 news and Store content – make sure to check out UFC fighter Rashard Evans looking particularly imposing.
Access is available every Friday on YouTube. To make sure you never miss an episode, head to youtube.com/playstationaccess and hit subscribe and join us on Facebook to keep track of everything Access does.

@ European_Gamer
This is an EU Blog, but unfortunately it’s completely biased towards the UK & the Harry Potter release date was today!

I know, I was just surprised that the movie released last on blu-ray when UK was the first place to release it in the cinemas.

When will other countries in EU get access to Access? Or will it be forever inAccessible?
Or will we get something else?
As of now we get less for our PSN+ subscription than people in the UK.

Access will always be a UK thing. It’s not just a weekly TV show – it’s PlayStation’s UK social strategy and something we’ve designed to suit UK gamers.
That said, I was in a meeting just yesterday with all the EU territories and there was much talk about how important video content is. Definitely check out the Facebook page for your country and go tell them you want something like Access!

@Arkeologen
Thats why they post this blog page every week, and also now have a dedicated youtube channel – to keep the rest of the EU in the loop
