Judging from the comments, we caught you by surprise when we announced that MotorStorm RC is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in time for launch. You all seem really excited about the game so I followed up with its director Paul Rustchynsky to discuss in more detail the vision, the Cross-Play with PS3 and PS Vita, and the social interactions that will be at the heart of MotorStorm RC.
If you have any further questions then please let us know in the comments and I’ll get the answers.

Just to clarify… This game does support a ‘chase’ camera view, yes? Not a top-down ‘helicopter’ view?
Posted on 2 December, 2011 at 4:54 pm by Phenom_Evolution
There are several camera views, all of which are variants on the helicopter (isometric) view. Think of this more like a classic top-down racer than a successor to MotorStorm Apocalypse.

I’ve said it before, but i’d love it if Evo could work on GT6 (PS4).I’d be asking if they could build a selection of real world rally tracks (Based on their WRC past) and help expand GT’s rally modes.
The same would apply at Studio Liverpool, try and use their experience of real world F1 tracks, and get a selection ready for the next GT.
If they could both churn out 10 tracks between them,it would be a great addition to the series.
Or i’d ask Evo or SL,if they were interested in making tourist trophy 2.

oh James what view is it? please dont say top-down!
Posted on 2 December, 2011 at 4:59 pm by Phenom_Evolution
There are several camera views to choose from, but all of them are variants on the classic top-down style. It really suits the game and makes learning the tracks much easier – and supports the sense of speed you get when you’re zipping around in the RC cars.

From the trailer it looks top down, but I wouldn’t mind a modern RC Pro AM.

I was under the impression it was a VITA release only!
Might pick this up then.
Micro Machines…….I mean Motorstorm RC here I come!

It’s essentially the same game on both, with the added bonus of 4-player split-screen on PS3.

Will their be any online competive multiplayer like 4player or 8 player. Really hope that because It’s the onnline part I love most about the motorstorm games so you can play with friends and do tourments.

Asynchronous online competitive play is a huge part of MotorStorm RC – but takes a little bit of explaining. A future blog post will go into more detail, but please rest assured that competition with friends is at the heart of the game.

Hopefully it’s a well priced PSN release.
I’m really happy Evo adopted the 2 for 1 system for this game and I hope other revs follow their lead.
Nice to hear that Autolog’s made its way into Motorstorm

Is it gonna be bundled for both Vita and Ps3 in same package, or do we have to buy them seperatly, and least, i suppose there will be diffrent throphy sets on ps3 and Vita so they will not share the same trophy’s?
Looking forward 4 it btw
