Hey Andy – good items.
Can you give me any clue as to Tombi?
And will Crysis be coming up as a deal?
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:45 pm by Andy Stewart
Sadly still no update on Tombi, sorry dude
As for Crysis, this is not due to go one sale this year but maybe in 2012.

Sorry, I just had a look at the NFS price. Is that a typo at £69.99?
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:46 pm by Andy Stewart
Yes that is indeed a typo and thanks for pointing it out, I am getting it amended.

Looking forward to some Sonic CD. Anyone interested in Alice, Play are selling it on disc for £10

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:34 pm by almighty-slayer
Alice: Mandess Returns is a bargain for £48. Not like it has been on sale for £10 recently…
Just Corpse Party for me

SONY:
What is the reason EU PSN does NOT get Trine 2 this year?
Xbox gets it worldwide on 21.12, US PSN gets it 20.12.
Is this Sony’s fault as you don’t get your act together like with so many many other releases which take like weeks longer in EU?
Or is it M$ buying timed exclusivity AGAIN for EU (I hate this f…ing company) like they did several times this year
PLEASE ANSWER.
Or at least give a hint.
Thanks!
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:48 pm by Andy Stewart
Sadly I can’t answer because I simply don’t know if there is a deal with ‘another company’ but as you have stated it would not be the 1st game to be affected like this.

do we in sweden get movie store this year or do we have to wait to year 10 000?
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:50 pm by Andy Stewart

Sonic CD, awsome been waiting for this.
Got a small thing to mention. I redownloaded populous (PS1) and I noticed on the xmb the image has the white background still around the cover of the game aand doesnt look right with my other ps1 games, just wondering can this be fixed easily

almightyslayer;
Funny you should say that about Alice. I just bought it a few hours ago on Amazon for a price that was too good to pass up!

Marvel Pinball – Vengeance and Virtue tables!! That was about time! Still another great deliver from Zen Studio Four tables for 8 euro is a steal!

£70 for NFS O_o are you crazy or is that a typo?
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:53 pm by Andy Stewart
It was a typo…
However I am also crazy but that has nothing to do with the pricing, just my state of mind
14
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:38 pm by Bealinator
Oh, will Stranger’s Wrath feature as a deal?
15
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:38 pm by guitardevil6
Marvel Pinball!! Yes!
Thanks Andy and all the team!
Also love watching Access each week, such a great addition to the store!

Hi Andy, I hope you’ll be able to answer my question. Is there any news on us getting the Saints Row: The Third avatars?
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:55 pm by Andy Stewart
I have not seen anything yet about them but i hope we will, I will see what I can find out.
18
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:39 pm by ChemicalBacon90
LOL I don’t even know where to start with some of those prices…
I mean, for a start, both Alice and DiRT 3 are £10 on Play.com today; I’m sure you could get them even cheaper if you shopped around.
Why do you bother to put the games up at these extortionate prices?
I accept that SCEE may not be responsible for setting prices, but why not have a pricing structure in place (similar to the App Store) whereby publishers can only charge set prices, e.g. £6.29, 7.99, 9.99, 11.99, 14.99, 19.99, 23.99, 29.99, 34.99, 39.99 [max] etc…) ?
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse:
“Need for Speed: The Run (£69.99/€49.99)”
What a joke.
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:58 pm by Andy Stewart
Yer the NFS pricing was a typo, my bad sorry for that one.
As for the rest I agree, however we have to think of over 30 diffeent locations accross europe and other non EU countries we service and the pricing at all those locations and not just the UK.

Are we going to be getting the Dynamic and static themes and avatars for The Last of Us? otherwise good update this week.
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 2:01 pm by Andy Stewart
We will be getting themes etc.. for this game but not yet.

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:39 pm by Roxas598
Absolutely nothing for me this week
is there anything good coming up for the last update before chrimbo Andy? like JP or any other full BR titles? (at a decent price?)
Also who makes Alice? cause they need a reality check!! it’s 9.99 instore now I mean how do they come up with these prices??
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 2:02 pm by Andy Stewart
Depending on what content you are after really but we have some good stuff coming out next week also. Sadly I can’t confirm what yet.
As for Alice, that was published by EA games.

With full respect, in august 2009 (gamescom)it was promissed that after the big 5,
The remaining countries were getting the videostore
In the last werk of 2010 on this blog we got promissed again, with applogies, that it was going to be released 2011
A roadmap was known, but couldn’t be communicatef
Now with 2011 almost gone and still no news about the remaining service
I ask with outmost respekt& honorable,
When will the remaining countries get the videostore
We returned to sony after the breach of security,
The minimum we could get is an answer instead of being ignored
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 2:03 pm by Andy Stewart
I would love to answer but as I do not deal with the movie store I can’t comment, sorry.

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:39 pm by Shifty_Geezer
No Dungeon Defenders? No Trine 2 this year? Constant delays of Under Siege’s patch? Can someone please explain why SCEE holds games back that launch everywhere else including Live! EU? If there’s a fair reason then that’s fine, and we’ll appreciate the quality controls, but all we see are delays for games that work everywhere else. It’d be nice to have an explanation why so we don’t just get frustrated.

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:39 pm by SneakCore
i bet you guys held back the Resistance 3 Brutality Pack,..
so you could include it in todays ”Not as much content as last week ” Update.
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 2:07 pm by Andy Stewart
This is probably the most insane statement I have ever read… Why would we want to delay selling a product just because content for a weeks publish was small? That is just silly.

Any news about Uncharted 3 upcoming DLC or UC3 Beta rewards?

Do you know if / when SCEE will release the ‘move.me’ app for using the PS Move motion controller with a PC?
30
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:41 pm by bunnyho
is the psp full game bundle a typo? as it looks cheaper to buy them individually than as a bundle?
Persona 2: Innocent Sin (£27.99/€34.99)
The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky (£27.99/€34.99)
Persona 2: Innocent Sin + The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky (£59.99/€47.99)

Oh, my eyes! I saw MotorStorm Apocalypse instead MotionSports Adrenaline and i was like NOOOOOOO, WHY THERE IS NO RUSSIAN RELEASE? Nice update by the way. When The Saints Row 3 DLC missions will be here? And what’s inside The Run DLC?

NFS here in sweden is £30 so i will not buy it in the PS store if i wanna get it.

Awesome, always wanted to play Fear Effect! and my friend has been eyeing up corpse party for a while so im glad that’s below £20. Erm, £69.99 for Need for speed the run? Bit much isn’t it? And £47 for Alice, when it’s £10 right now seems way out of there.
34
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:42 pm by sterushton
the US had a The Last of Us dynamic theme for free, EU doesn’t even have the static one? How come Sony, how come?
At least (I hope) I will get the Resistance 3 DLC this week. I still don’t believe your excuse though. But I’ll forgive you.

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:42 pm by Suzzopher
Great update. Very pleased to see Corpse Party and Sonic CD.
EA are fools for charging £69.99 for a bad Need for Speed game.

yay more free stuff for me. any chance that in the 12 deals for christmas there’s a discount on “Sideway : New York” or “Sam & Max : BTS”????
Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 2:50 pm by Andy Stewart
Sadly not as Sideway was already recently discounted in the trial and unlock sale. As for Sam & Max, we will have to see.

Is the disclaimer a kind of apology for having to put a game on the store for 70 quid?
BTW it’s £10 on play.com for 24 hours, buy 7 and use 6 as frisbees…way more fun.

Posted on 14 December, 2011 at 1:42 pm by SlickShoes
£69.99 for any game is a joke.
I wasn’t going to buy it, but just seeing a game listed at that over inflated price on the PS Store puts me off buying anything else.
Are you guys/whoever published this really living in a world where anyone pays £70 for a single game that is probably the worst of the franchise to date?
Out of touch as usual, goodbye PS Store, more fail each week.

Sadly no news on Trine 2

£69.99 for NFS The Run?!?!? You guys really need to sort out your pricing on here. Amazon has it for sal for £24.99 and you are charging an extra £45 so that you can download it instead of having a physical disc, that’s like almost 3 times the price for exactly the same thing except for the insane amount of download time.
You guys seriously need to review your pricing of download versions of disc based games.

Prices are an absolute joke. Seriously.
Digital distribution is supposed to be the way forward but these prices are laughable.
PS. STILL NO PAYDAY: THE HEIST CODE OR BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL REFUND
Disgraceful service

So as well as overcharging, we are still no further to getting the full range of PS1 games that other regions have and no sign whatsoever of PS2 games? With respect, I must ask again for the contact details of who to make a formal complaint about this to, and that as a representative of the company I believe you are legally required to give upon request.

Oh sorry, I also wanted to say that the Resistance franchise section on the store is sadly lacking, when you click on Resistance 3 it only has the online pass, surely you should be putting the DLC in there? Invasion and now Brutality?
Cheers.
