@#96 It shouldn’t be more than €30 at most, it’s a freaking handheld not a rocket launcher.

Sad to see theres no 32GB memory card for the SCEE regions but I guess its not the end of the world. I might ask a friend in the USA to purchase a 32GB card there for me and send it over to the UK or I’ll go with a 16GB card and purchase my games at retail, leaving the 16GB for music, pictures, videos as well as DLC and save data that can’t be saved to certain games.
RRP retail prices for the games aren’t bad. Especially as most retailers are selling the games around £5 cheaper than the RRP. For an example, Little Deviants has an RRP of £24.99. However, Amazon are selling it for £17.99 and GAME are selling it for £19.99.
I only have a couple of questions. When will the PlayStation Store prices for these games be revealed as all games will be available at retail and on the PS Store. I heard games on the PS Store will have a lower price than the retail RRP. Also, any details on whats contained in the Starter Kit and the Travel Kit?

Oh one more thing. It would be great if Sony could release the size of each game prior to the release of the Vita so that I decide which games I’ll be buying at retail and on the PS Store.
I think it would be a good idea to update the PS3′s PlayStation Store, adding a Vita section to the Store, a couple of weeks before the Vita’s launch. That way we can view details about Vita games before release like the download and install size of the game and the price. It would also be a good idea to allow us to preorder digital copies of games via the Vita store on the PS3.

Yeah without a 32gb card I am seriously rethinking my purchase. I already have a near full 16gb card on my PSP and with download only games on the Vita, I will need bigger. I dont wanna have the hassle to import a card just because SCEE is too lazy to give us what the rest of the world has access to at release

The lunch line-up looks very good to me and gives me more reasons to get myself a ps vita and get rid of my psp go(since it seems like sony has abandoned the psp go) but a question that has been bothering my mind is if the ps vita will later have Naruto shippuden on it or are we going to be able to play the ps3 naruto or the psp naruto? Please do well to reply

No 32GB memory card no PS Vita sale its that simple Sony.
Think before you make such stupid decisions.

@SirTodge
ok keep your briefs on! all articles are different and i wouldn’t listen to much to the guardian of all papers!
i simply commented “i heard” and again dont need a child getting all heated up in defence of some rip off gadget. as for “widespread” it doesnt matter how wide spread an issue is, if there is a small problem which obviously there is how will that effect other vita’s when they get released in other countries? will they just wait till everyone starts to complain or will they find the source of the problem and make a patch ready?

@150
Because Sony knows the UC series has fans so they want to exploit them. Thats why its 40, because out of the whole launch line up UC is the game people will go for most.

Seems ridiculous not to release the 32GB card in the UK. Now I’m going to have to import one. Nice one.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss – €49.99/£44.99/$69.95 AUD/$89.95 NZD
LOL, y u crazy Sony? You will find out the hard way when the game sells just 10,000 copies…
I will consider those prices when the games run at full Vita resolution and a smooth framerate. Right now Uncharted is 10 hours, sub native resolution (which is 544p, Uncharted runs at like 400p), and choppy framerate during combat. I know it’s launch so I can overlook these issues, but you ask £45 for that?!?

Fantastic! Sometimes I think only the Sony Europe uses his head. AIR cards had to be default on all VITA, is the only way to ensure support third parties to the technology.
I hope that Sony USA use your head as well.

So seeing as there will be no 32g mem card, can we import them from US? or is there some gimmick that prevents a card from one region working on a PSV from another region?
I was gonna buy it on day one, but looking at the list of games i want, 16g is nowhere near enough.

Now I WILL be getting a Vita, butt I don’t understand why all of you are so annoyed about the prices, they had to knock of some of the good stuff from the start.
You should all be greatful, I guess there’s no one else here like me, that thinks Sony are doing very well by sticking with Modern stuff unlike another company that’re still stuck 10 years ago. If you can’t work that out I am talking about Nintendo.
Sony if the Starter kit includes Screen Protectors then I’ll get one straight away with my Vita. Can never have enough Screen Protectors.

Posted on 24 December, 2011 at 7:27 am by residentSteve
Ref post 166 I hate screen protectors I can’t understand how people stick them on I had about 3 of them for my old iPhone 3GS and could I get any of them to stick on without getting finger prints on the screen hair or bubbles under the plastic they are useless.

OH GOD! THE AR CARDS ARE FREE ARE THEY!?!?
GOD I WAS THINKING I WOULD HAVE TO PRINT THEM OUT MYSELF! WHAT A RELIEF THAT THE GIMMICKY CARDS WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE DEVICE!!
HOW TRULY GENEROUS, NOW IF ONLY THEY COULD INCLUDE THE MEMORY CARD & BATTERY PACK THAT WOULD BE WORTH WHILE.

wow its very sad
gravity rush was my reason to pre order the psvita
now its psn only and im not familiar with psn download titles
please sony give us a retail version of gravity rush
you could make many consumers happy with this decision

Seriously, are you kidding your customers Sony ? Why do you treat us so badly ? The launch line up seems like a joke, no 32GB memory card (= deal breaker), Gravity Rush (the game that made me pre-order my vita) only on PSN ?
I’m gonna cancel my order and will probably import everything I want from America.
Thanks SCEE.

Hi Adam
regarding to Gravity rush will europe ever get a retail version of it?
it wont bother me if it launchs psn only
but if it stays psn only it would be very sad for some customers
because they prefer a retail version for game collections etc
I hope you and your colleagues can handle this case

COME ON ADAM-Please listen to what people are saying we want 32gb card at launch .We will be forced to import costing us more money and losing you sales.Vita at launch is only going to be bought by hardcore gamers fact and hardcore gamers need 32gb,especially as your so keen on pushing dlc.Europe is one of playstation brands biggest supporters and yet we seem to be playing second fiddle to the U.S. with regards to the Vita so please show us some respect. And please stop trying to make it seem like we are getting some thing special with the AR cards which would only be of interest to casual gamers and not the gamers that pay the bills at SCEE . P.S. where’s the cradle it was going to be on my pre-Order with the 32gb card,do you want my money or not

I knew this would happen one of the reasons I wont be buying from day 1 no 32gb ar card has its got a USB connection im wondering if you use a storage device to save space on files? not have some form of storage memory inside the vita will only cause problems I feel the vita has some what been rushed I feel and in a year or 2 why do I get the feeling they will release one with built in storage??? this whole handheld seems your forced to spend countless amounts of money so for release for uncharted fans your forced to not only buy the game at a stupid price but the fact you need a ar card also is silly most people will want the higher space card so for that one game it will cost you close to like £80, plus the console your looking at the £300+ so sorry but for a launch handheld thats not a great price up, bad dicision in my eyes to go that way.

hi Adam,
I want to ask you few questions.
when will ps vita offers (bundled ,limited, promotions) will be announced for india and what will be the price and why the 32 gb card is not announced for europe region.
why always sony products price is high in india,if sony will manage to provide equivilant (dollar 250=13000 rupees but actual is going 20000 rupees) price to us market than ps vita will do very good in india.hope the price mentioned above will be false and the price will be somewhere 14000 rupees wifi only.

Ha! While the world is in reccession lets dig ourselves a deeper pit by introducing the new overpriced cards from sony. A repeat of the memory stick duo.Why no SD cards? The only way this will work is if you introduce game price cuts 1 month after game release and allow other companies to make the cards aswell which is how SD sold so well.Follow their example or this will end up in the 3DS pit of DOOM. I’ve already preordered and have doubts whether I’ll be able to get a decent game now. Guess its back to getting old games.

Why no 32GB Memory Card at launch?
There has to be a reason. So can you please explain Adam.

I take it that we are at least getting a measly 4gb mem card with our pre orders of the Vita? The decision not to include a memory card at all, or a low GB leveled one would be as foolish, due to the fact that dl’able gmes have come to the fore, as foolish as only giving the PS3 256mb of RAM…
well if you have the same people making these stupid decisions then we are going to be left in illogicol situations…

Hello Guys.
Maybe those questions were already asked, but, for Gravity Rush, if, apparently, Gravity Rush is only for PsN, which size is he ? And, will it be only in English or will it be translate ? I’m French and the good games in English are starting to irritate me; I would like to understand the story ! Full of games on Sony’s consoles are very good, but on portable consoles, a lot of them are in English.
