PlayStation Home is offline from 8AM GMT on Wednesday 1st February for routine maintenance. Here is what to expect after the update…
To celebrate the recent launch of Novus Prime: Vindication in PlayStation Home, our friends at Hellfire Games are offering zero-gravity Spacewalking for FREE inside the Novus Prime space station through the end of this week! Simply warp to Novus Prime from the Action District, activate Spacewalk at the centre of the station, and float around weightlessly indoors (and outside in space!) for free until February 5th.
Be sure to check out all the fresh content and free rewards in the newly released Novus Prime: Vindication expansion while you’re there!
Granzella bring us some more Edo era inspired clothing with Japanese Yukatas, while in Threads and Alter Ego you can find a selection of classic period costumes. Slip into the guise of an Old West Gunslinger, or show your love for the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s with classics such as the Flapper, the Zoot Suit, and the 1940s Gal. Go for maximum bling with Don Dynamite or Madame Firefly costumes, or float mystically through Home on a magic carpet. There’s also some more contemporary clothing including sharp suits and new hairstyles to keep your avatar on trend.
This week sees the departure of the Go Fish game from Shopping Mall East after it’s been reeling in the punters for a good few months. Yet, fear not young fishermen and women, the Go Fish game will continue in its very own apartment! Available in Estates now!
Look forward to the Lockwood Valentines Update throughout February! Win prizes in the Show Off Competition. This time it’s a romantic theme; get ready for your First Date and let Lockwood know about it – more details coming soon! The Showcase has a Spring time facelift with 6 new hidden rewards and 5 new Valentines themed gifts cropping up in the Gift Machine along with some old favourites.
See you in PlayStation Home!

I think i speak for everybody (lol) when I say good riddence to the sea creature murdering games in the mall location. Don’t know what Sony Home staff were thinking when they let those slip through? Be nice to have the ocean view back as it was/should be. Please no more terrible ill-thought out games in the mall. Thanks.

3 fish away….. and it goes into Essential Maintenance. Oh well, it was a fun challenge catching the fish. Fish were never killed (captured yes, not murdered). Although some scorpions, worms and shrimp may live another virtual day.

can’t see why EU can’t have the same updates as the US.. I mean, if you guys had actually bothered with making it possible, there’d be less negative comments on this blog, possibly even more people using PShome in Europe. I say all us europeans team up and rob america lol jk but c’mon sony..do it for EU

you must know by now that SCEE runs us from second to last fiddle against content and action that is supplied to JP and especially SCEA’s north America markets. I mean most games are for some unfathomable reason based on that continent at the cost of a broader spectrum of locations outside of that continent largelyn unmined along with the place constantly being used as a reference for “pop”"culture”. hence if you tell a child it is important and stuff it full of that importance, then 9 times out of 10 it will need maintaining in it’s “prime” post d’importance. Plus micro$it has a bigger hold on the impotantly importances’, heartless minds and bodies so SCE feels it needs to catch up. So we get ditched for the beautiful market and it’s busloads of possible extractable income-payouting people…(‘

I like the little white hat of the Can-Can dancer, I keep wishing for a Cabaret outfit really. Just one thing about the Go Fish apartment was annoying, it’s a recycled model of the SuperFunRoboGoalie game which was a big let down, could’ve at least made something new for it instead of a rework of an old model
Ah well.
