i have lost all my singstar content and no one at scee can man up and say sorry wee have a problem , your no getting another penny out of me till this crap has been sorted , im disgusted at scee .

6 “new” songs for an update? The least SingStar could have done is “padded” it a bit by adding songs from the previous songpacks (eg. MoshItUp, Billy Idol, Def Leppard, etc.).

What ever happened to those discounted Number Ones?

The Twitter team have said the tracks have been ready for days they’re just waiting for permission to put them up/make them available.

Disappointing update. Perhaps you guys need to hit some karaoke bars and see what songs people really like, and maybe try get some current songs that are being played to death on the radio like “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5 (I didn’t like the song, but it’s stuck in my head!).

more songs that have already been released on disks can we please have some brand New songs more muse would be nice

I realise SingStar not only has to get the rights to the songs, but also to the music videos, but it would be nice to get some current hits.

Rock Band recently got songs like…

Cobra Starship (ft. Sabi) – You Make Me Feel
Gym Class Heroes (ft. Adam Levine) – Stereo Hearts

It would be awesome if SingStar could do the same!

And, what i’d really love to see is a SingStar Punk (with UK & US punk bands)… Bad Religion was on Sony for a while (hint, hint) P or an Adults Only disc with uncensored songs would be equally as fun. You’ve made discs for kids, how about one for us adults… then maybe i’d get my favourite Dandy Warhols track (“Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth”) and maybe “The Bad Touch” by The Bloodhoung Gang (I love that video!).

Muse would be great too (Muscle Museum, New Born, Plug In Baby… anything from Muse would be appreciated!).

Just Kylie Minogue’s songs put a smile on my face all day. Yeah!!!!

I wouldn’t mind Kylie’s “In My Arms” (since it has that Calvin Harris sound to it), and just for cheesiness, I really want Jason Donovan’s “Nothing Can Divide Us”. It’s weird that none of Kylie or Jason’s songs are available in Australia considering they’re both originally from there!

I’d like “In my arms” by Kylie too. And more artists like Nightwish (such as Within Temptation).

I was already rushing to the television when I remembered that I still have to wait till Wednesday. Huge thanks for that! Will this mean that we might see other songs from Nightwish as well in the future, such as Wish I Had An Angel, Nemo, Amaranth, etc?

@Nina After the update accounts are messed up and people have trouble with the store (not everyone).

I was hoping the changes within Sony would lead to more synergie and give us more current songs (within the Sony portofoly). I bet that will happen but it takes time I guess…

Also some Bryan Adams, Journey, and Cold Chisel. I must say, the DEF LEPPARD songs pretty much made my day. I bought rockband purely for Def last year. I believe for singing Singstar is heaps better, so more DEF too!

Whilst I am at it, why is there no ‘jukebox’ feature? I own so many singstar tunes it would be nice to be able to use them as my party music. Select the tracks, let them play on the telly in an endless loop.

This is a good update Nina but there is a small problem……..I bought the 80′s disc a couple months ago thinking it would of took much longer to get some of those songs as DLC. There are still quite a few tracks on the 80′s disc to be released in the store and I assume most of them will arrive throughout the course of the year. I also agree with Graffin to have more punk in the game. I too am a huge fan of Bad Religion.

Disappointing update again. Why put up songs that have already been released on disc ?

All the 80′s song pack 4 tracks are on the heavily advertised Back to The 80′s disc released by you late last year. I’m sure any 80′s fan will have bought that disc and will not be interested in this song pack 4.

It seems new unreleased tracks on SingStar are few and far between. Is this going to improve in 2012 ?

Everybody wants something different. Not everyone is going to be happy. It is a shame people are far more willing to be vocal if they are unhappy than if they are happy. Perhaps a quick look at the total number of songs that are available on singstar, might put this in perspective. Thanks for supporting a software title that is now very old (in software terms) and giving us all extended playability and value for money.

P.s. my list of demands is blah blah blah etc etc

hey just popped in to see if there has been any improvement on singstar,unfortunately the answer is no its still PATHETIC.And dont go hitting it with its hard to get tracks and all that nonsense because it doesnt wash,you have your own music division sony for god sake.over and OUT.

also in the original press notes for singstar it declared that there would be 2000 songs by launch,i would just like to ask the question why has it taken like 5 years to get any where near that figure.way to over hype your game sony

i dont expect get an answer because you would rather answer the easy questions

one more thing on my singstar case it says singstar+singstore,nowi know i cant complain about the sing star part because i actually paid for and cant complain about the disc because it is excellent.but if i am not happy with the singstore part of it.i would like to know if im entitled to a refund because this aspect of the disc is not satisfactory.

i would just like to point out that this is nothing against you personally,i just think if theres that much negativety about singstar (its pretty evident bye the way)why are sony not bending over backwards to fix it.its called listening to your customers,but i think potentially its too late for sony to fix this.it will be very interesting to see the sales figures for ps4 if there is a ps4,at this rate sony are going out of business.i think sony have became arrogant and that will ultimately be their downfall.

ps sorry if above comments were out of order,i just want to see an improvement is that too much to ask.
