I was wondering what this months PS-PLUS content was as we should of got the Simpsons arcade last week but it got delayed due to the release not being simultaneous with other parties.Does that not mean we should of got another game today as the Simpsons was a mid-month treat.Or have i got it wrong and therefore rambling.8)

Trine 2 – I’m a little late this week, sorry!

Well, the good news is that the game is back at QA now, bugs should be fixed. The bad news is that it will take at least a couple of weeks before we know anything more.

So the earliest release date is either late February (starting to look unlikely) or early March. This is assuming that it goes through in QA and doesn’t come back to us (which would be quite disappointing for everybody).

@Klart Umm, on 1st of Feb, they said that The Simpsons Arcade was going to be released on 8th of Feb. Your argument is invalid.

Thanks for update confirming the game is back with scee QA. Hope it gets here sooner than the eta.
On similar topic, but not a question, I would really like to know how scee’s QA stack up against a certain other consoles, ie how long they allready had the game before they found this bug, fast or slow work, or good versus unacceptable, based on the size of the team and what else they may of been working on of course, as i’m sure there skilled etc, But are sce allowing scee enough of these QA guys, or are they cutting corners, cos afterall the EU is allready theirs, so resources need to go ‘elsewhere’, in order to claim more ground. Kinda Syndicate style i guess.

Heh, thanks. In reality it actually took us a week or so to fix them – everything else was done in a day but there was one annoying crash issue which took a lot of time and effort due to various reasons.

We are aware of people losing interest in the game due to these delays but there’s really nothing we can do about it. I hope that the game and the trial will win them over though, the game will still be great when it’s released.

As for the Collector’s Edition we have on PC, well there’s some chances that we could bring the soundtrack to PSN, that would certainly make a lot of sense. The Artbook is probably not possible (it’s just a PDF file on PC). I think we’ll start thinking about the soundtrack once the actual game is released finally…

I can’t really go into too much detail about that, especially since we don’t deal with (any console) QA directly – that is the publisher’s role. However, based on our experiences, perhaps I could say that SCEE QA finds more bugs than SCEA, at least with Trine 2. They have some pretty skilled people there, some of the bugs that they report are really difficult to find. The console platforms are very similar in this regard, and SCEE QA is roughly equivalent to MS QA in their thoroughness.

For the record we have absolutely no problem with any QA department or their reports – if there’s a technical bug and the game doesn’t behave well with the console, then it needs to be fixed and it’s our responsibility. We only hope that the process becomes faster and easier in the future (at least for future consoles).

We have zero issues or bad feelings towards SCEE QA, they are rather innocent in the overall delay so far. I can’t really give out any more details unfortunately, and right now it’s meaningless anyhow – we just want the game released. Hopefully everything goes well this time!

but about the CE comment i made,

i thought maybe put Trine2+OST on psn instead of normal trine2 .. so people who are hesitating cause of the delay are given some sort of push to buy it after all.

Dunno if this is more of a sony move than something frozenbytegames could offer.

Was just a thought i had.

Ah, that would be cool but unfortunately those kind of plans take a long time to make happen. It would most likely mean another delay for the game, so… I guess you understand.

As Jak & Daxter collection is not out till the 24th february in uk maybe it will be on the store on the 22nd february as our store updates on a wednesday

I was wondering if there will be an update/patch for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection? I’ve had problems with my game which is really I first got the limited edition & I traded in some games & got another copy so I have 2 copies of the game now but I’m still having the same problem. This is why I loathe PSN…why the hell isn’t the lightning DLC on the dutch psn store? I log into my UK account and it’s there, US account it’s there, JPN account it’s there….
But for some reason it’s not on my main account..

Just for fun I checked xbl marketplace and what do you know? Lightning dlc present…

No, the Belgian store are independent of the French and Dutch stores. It happen that sometimes games/demos are available on the French store and not on the Belgian one.

But about your issue, I don’t know. Are you sure you check in the “new of the week” section of the store (“Nouveautés de la semaine” in french) ?

I can’t check if it’s there now, but I will check again tonight after work.

I checked both the “what’s new” section and ingame (there’s a DLC menu) – it says “no dlc found, check back at a later date”.

The game connects to the PS Store, so I assumed it was for buying the DLC straight from there. My pre-order DLC doesn’t show up in that menu, but I downloaded it correctly.

Gotham City Impostors unlock key still missing wheter you search the store or try to unlock in-game.

I checked the store, what’s new, all games and even searched for it.
I didn’t find it initially either on the UK store, but after I searched for it there it did show up.

Some extra info:
When searching for “fantasy” on the UK store I get 149 results, which includes the DLC.
When doing the same on the dutch store I only get 111 results, and the DLC isn’t part of it.
Better yet it seems that the dutch store doesn’t even realise ff13-2 has any dlc at all; if you go to all games and then ps3 add-ons there is no entry for ff13-2…even though I downloaded my pre-order dlc just fine…

Meh I hope this gets fixed soon.

You’d think with the Vita launch less than 2 weeks away they would at least be willing to share when they can announce dates or at least prices of how much games will cost on the store not only do the US get prices before us they get the console before us as well tell me sony why should I buy a Vita when you can’t be straight with your buyers?

According to a forum entry on http://www.gothamcityimpostors.com, it is now possible to unlock the game through a click on the triangle (choose “buy game”) while selecting it in the ps3 menu.

Still being fobbed off by customer services and the latest from the mods on the forum are “They have all been sent out already. If you still haven’t received it then you will need to call customer services.”

I was wondering if the game Warlords is already available in Europe (more specifically Belgium). The key is within the store but a bit hidden from new content etc!

To access it select “All Games, PS3 Games, G-I, Gotham City Imposters & the key is the 2nd file! I can’t believe the store team haven’t mentioned this or the other 6 purchasers!

Did anyone buy Mafia2 yet, only when i seen it was half price for plus i snapped it up, brilliant price for a good game, But i can’t play it, (properly), as during every cutscene there is no noise, and this game looks like it’ll be boring without the story, well after a hour or so, Has anybody else got, or not got the same problems,?, i could just try downloading it again, but 90 minutes it took last night, and it’s only 7750ish, Why when you 1st go to download something off the store it gives crazy estimated times, like last night it went from 445min to (about 6or7 tries later) 60min, though it still took 90. Is it the stores fault, or is it my ip, am supposed to be on 20mb, but get around 17… btw, just isn’t same using subtitles.

Oh right…all I read was to press triangle on the game & choose purchase! Didn’t work for me as it stated undergoing maintenance!

Also you may have to download & install the Trial 1st for the upgrade key to appear within the GI folder!
