Speeding you into the weekend this Friday is Access TV episode 20, now available on YouTube and featuring shiny Vita racer Wipeout 2048 as Game of the Week. There’s a ton of new gameplay footage showcasing Studio Liverpool’s gravity-bothering blockbuster, including a look at the innovative ‘touch & tilt’ control functions.
Also worth checking out is footage from the recent Glasgow Vita Rooms, where Sony’s new handheld was on public display. There’s plenty of reaction from the Access Community (that’s you), plus guest appearances from Glasgow Rangers hotshots Maurice Edu and Alejandro Bedoya. Not only that, rap ace Lethal Bizzle drops in for a performance – don’t miss it.
Elsewhere the team brave an interview with UFC hard-man Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett, as he reveals what he really thinks of his nose, plus tells us which PlayStation character he’d most like to have a brawl with in real life.
There’s also your usual serving of PS3 news to get stuck into, plus a roundup of the week’s essential content on the PlayStation Store, which this week includes crazy shooter Gotham City Impostors, plus buckets of cartoon violence with Shank 2.

+ Why don’t SONY have Shops like the ‘Vita Rooms’ all over the UK all the time? They could have all PlayStation stuff(maybe call it the ‘PlayStation Shop’) & sell all the stuff to. If they did i would be in that shop all day

I’ll be honest – these events cost a lot of money and a heck of a lot of time to prepare! Besides, if we did it all the time it wouldn’t be as special for you guys
Besides, you can just get your own PS Vita in a couple of weeks and set up your own shop… on your sofa!
…or the bus, or the supermarket, or at work… you get the idea.

party foul stephanie mill was working at the vita room when i went!
its implied she is just a random gamer like the rest in that vid lol.
it was a great event in glasgow, you should have filmed the opening night party there was a good buzz about the place that night.

funny thing happened at the party.
me and my wife got talking to the wipeout girl while waiting to get to toilet (funny lady btw) and she told us she is a developer for the game, so i said you make the game and you make you dress like that, she replys no im actually a character in the game and at that point i stupidly said without thinking “so the character in the game dresses like you” doh!
