I think what @chisandsheva means is that not everyone will have ten people in their friends list, so that beating a time from ten different players would be nigh-on impossible and hence a platinum trophy could not be achieved.

However, I think the trophy text pretty clearly indicates that it just means beating 10 times posted by friends. Not 10 times posted by 10 different friends.

Awesome to see this title pioneer many new features both on Vita and PS3. I really hope many developers will follow. And am really stoked for this game. Like others, I’ve been a great fan of this genre, playing nearly any game from Super Sprint to Micro Machines v3, but after that superb title (Maniacs was cool too), the genre has gone downhill. I think it’s really cool that you guys have a four player split-screen on the PS3 version. Sometimes I wonder though if it would be difficult to do a Lego-Games style dynamic split-screen. I thought that was awesome, and could work great for this too, or get some kind of picture in picture for people who lag behind.

£4.79 wow this week the Vita has had only good news for me with me finding out that my local shop had added fifa 12 to all previous preorders at the same price and now this at that price! Awesome keep up the good work.

This looks epic and stereoscopic 3d on the ps3 version too!!, hopefully it’s been done right because this game sounds like it would be perfect for that. Can’t wait!!

I’ve been looking forward to this game since it was first announced. That it has such a good price and that you get both versions for one price is incredible.

I just hope that this single pay strategy will follow forward with other cross play games.

I have a question regarding the trophies.

Lets imagine I earn the Platinum trophy in my PS3 without syching with my Vita. When I sych, do I earn every trophy at once, at the same minute or will it have the same time tags as the PS3 trophy list?
It’s stupid if you get a plat within a minute. It will look like a cheated list.

I had lil interest in this game at first sight but now I may just have to buy it.

at the price point this game is at its a day one buy for me, i tried it at the glasgow access event and it had a real micro machine’s feel about it which is a good thing.

im i right in saying that if i unlock 10 trophies on the vita when i turn on the ps3 version those 10 trophies will pop 1 after the other?

this is also going to be available on the 22nd right?

Can only echo the comments re the fantastic price on this. For me this provides the perfect type of pick up and play mobile gaming I was after. The fact I can also play the same game on my PS3 is a fantastic bonus Thanks in advance of the launch!!

@43 Bezetos, @46 Pesico, @48 KUV1977, @49 Shin-Ra Getting 2 platinums for completing a game once is definitely wrong and a bad move by Sony. Maybe once the ps4 comes out we can get 3 platinums for 1 completion! Sort it out Sony, you’re de-valuing the trophy system.

@Phenom_Evolution Ah right that’s expected because of the screen size, I’m not bothered really about the graphics big fan of motorstorm I will skip the trial and just buy it!

When I first heard about RC I must confess I marked it as a “do not buy” due to not having online multiplayer (as in, actual racing). Having discovered the price though I am now in the “day 1 purchase” set. It’s a shame it doesn’t have a realtime multiplayer race element to it but the rest of the content (and the price) more than make up for it.

A Mario Kart rival with no multiplayer? Who thought that was a good idea? Possibly the same team who decided releasing Medieval Moves the same day as Zelda: Skyward Sword would keep it out of the bargain bin. I really do prefer Sony over Nintendo with many of my favourite games in the current generation being ps3 exclusives. But some of the business decisions around allegedly key titles are just unfathomable.

Is it going to be easy to play a local multiplayer game (wipeout & motorstorm rc for example) with ps3 vs vita so that I can host a game on my ps3 and let a friend join it with my Vita? (I´ll have them both connected to internet through the same wlan router.)

How about other combination such as 2 players splitscreen on ps3 vs 1 player with Vita?

Does the PS Vita version include online multiplayer?

Brilliant game! Already have 180/192 medals. There’s some trouble syncing the PS3 trophies. They just don’t appear to my profile although the system tries to sync them with the servers.

Three achievements left to platinum. Reaching the 40:00 of total time will kill me since I already feel I’m reaching my limits in the game.

First off, great game on both the PS3 and PSVita, but one major problem, the game doesn;t seem to want to save my progress on how many medals I have obtained!

I’ve tried re-downloading the game but I still get the same problem on both versions….
