It really is an outstanding piece of hardware as well as launch line-up. I’ve never seen anything like it and i’ve been gaming avidly on most consoles since the NES. Sony sure has learned a lesson from the disastrously expensive (and expensive to manufacture) hardware and weak line-up of the launch of the PS3.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGH! My Super Stardust code doesn’t work!!! I’m soooooooooo annoyed! The Frobisher one does but Super Stardust says the code is not valid o0r has been used! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGH!

Anyone else having this problem? Who am I gonna call?

I keep hearing about this amazing software launch line up the Vita has all across the internet but for real, no its not amazing. It has 2 or 3 decent games out of 20 or 30 launch games and those decent games have better counter parts on the PS3. I ain’t falling for the hype anymore.

Yous start bringing out fresh new games that ain’t catered to the casual market or ported games of old PS3 titles then I’ll consider getting the vita until then bring me some dam PS3 news.

Wheres the RPGs for the handheld like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, wheres the survival horrors like Resident evil or Silent Hill, what about a new handheld God of War game or even a few sandbox games like Grand theft auto or something new.

Until the vita starts getting games like that the sales in EU and NA will follow a similar pattern to those in japan. A decent first week from all the hype around its release to poor sales all around. Don’t believe me?? Just wait and see.

Congrats to all of those that have (or even can afford) one – I wish I was there day one, but not to be…

Not trying to sound bitter, but there’s some sort of competition running via twitter – I entered it today under the presumption that the 1st 10 responses would win something (presumably a Vita, maybe a download code; I really don’t know) – I loved the way that I answered before someone else (after looking at the time stamps) and I didn’t win – gutted! Tried asking why, and no response.

I generally get good service from Sony, but this is an absolute shocker, to be fair. Oh well

Happy Vita day! Its already Feb 22 here in the Philippines but tomorrow will be the official Vita day for Every gamers in the world who will get their hands on this baby. Sucks that I dont have one yet. Jealousy over 9000! Enjoy everyone tomorrow! B-)

I like how you complain that every game on the Vita has a “better counterpart on the PS3″ then suggest loads of home console franchies to put on the Vita

You’ve done a great job Mr Ryan. I am going in 8 hours to pick it up. I think I’m going to pull an all nighter (an all nighter with the aid of PS3 of course).

Digital pricing for retail games still an issue but hey, one small issue out of hundreds of things isn’t bad at all (though it should still be fixed! Copy Valve business model).

Hi. Wondering why gravity rush for vita is not on the psn store? Every other release game is there. It was promised to be a launch title and is advertised on the vita page as release date 23/2. So unless you intend to upload it on its own tomorrow (unlikely), when is it coming?

Ugh, sucks that for some reason I can’t fund my PSN wallet Get’s errors even if I know the card works and I’ve been using it for months, and there is money in the bank to withdraw from.
Is there a limit for how quickly you can do transactions on PSN? Cause I went online with the Vita and spam bought three games pretty quickly after each other, and then it just went in lock mode

I know LIVE has a similar thing, but I’ve never experienced it on PSN before.

Second question. I have downloaded a heap of my playstation mini titles from the psn but none of them will open. Keep getting error code c1-2858-3. I have over 40 ps mini titles from my playstation plus account and not a single one will load. I have looked this up online and it would seem a number of people are encountering this. Please let me know how to fix this?

No I said the only decent vita games have better counterparts on the PS3 and I see you don’t know what the word LIKE means. Notice how I said games LIKE and for GOW said a new handheld GOW. Thats because I meant they need games like those franchises and a new GOW. I mean I’m saying the handheld needs those genres and giving examples of games in those genres because right now all I’m seeing is a dumbed down version of Mod nation racers, a dumber down Wipeout, a ported Ninga gaiden, a ported Fifa, a dumbed down Uncharted with no online , casual little deviants and a whole bunch of shovelware. Sales are going to back my statement so whatever.

I’ve never been sold on Touch Screen technology. … and the Vita has not changed that. Maybe if I get to try one I’ll think differently (i asked in GAME to try their demo model but they said it was broken) but for now my interest in Vita is as low as it can be. Yes, Uncharted looks a bit interesting, but so far that’s it.

I hope everyone who IS getting it enjoys it fully. Maybe something will spark interest in the future, but for now, this is one big release I’m quite happy to miss.

lol i’ll stick to my PS3 which by the way as just about been neglected so they can concentrate on this gloryfied PSP. the day i take gaming on the go is the day i’ll know i’m sad and friendless.. sorry but thats what vita means to me.

Congratulations on the launch, but the digital pricing for Australian’s continues to be a point of contention for me. I want to get a Vita, but just can’t until this is properly resolved. There may be reasons for it, but these reasons need to be fixed! Not just accepted as the way you do business. There is too much competition these days to send a fabulous piece of hardware like the Vita out to die.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue redeeming my £5 discount for ‘Escape Plan’. I have managed to redeem ‘Frobisher Says’ but with the discount it just will not work. I hope to hear something about this soon, as it is quite an irritating.

As an incentive as soon as you get this sorted I will be giving you an extra £5 Go on, that must be incentive enough?

same issues with stardust download code as others,, your your tweet stating it was fixed seems to be wrong

Reference post 21 uncharted was not 79p that is some dlc for the game it works with the in game map to help you find the treasure.

Aaarrgghhhhhhhh, just checked my tracking number and looks like my Vita will be delivered while I’m at work today……..Noooooooooooooo…….all of a sudden I’m not feeling to good………….

Vita launches and the ps3 has already been forgotten about it’s like 12.37am where I am right now and still no flashback map pack 2 for uncharted 3 also still no store update not good sony not good at all.

Please, please, please re-consider the prices of Vita games on the PSN store. THE DOWNLOAD PRICES ARE CURRENTLY WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. The prices need to reflect the fact that the games no longer have any re-sale value to the customer (let alone the much reduced overheads involved for the publishers, and the complete absence of retailer involvement). THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION. And come on, no-one wants the Vita to turn into another Go, do they?

Other than that, I’m really looking forward to my Vita arriving today!

I keep getting np-2244-2 when i try to download A-men, full version, i was able to download paid versions until i tried to download A-team. My credit card details are correct, i have cleared billing information and re-entered the details. Still no luck. Any solution for this, please???

The games with “trials” need to be added to the Demos section on the store as there are several that you only find when looking at the game directly.

Downloaded 17 things (games, trails, demos, apps) from midnight to be ready. Now I just need Mr HDNL to pull his thumb out and deliver!
