I’m delighted to confirm that The Jak and Daxter Trilogy, exclusive to PlayStation 3, is now available across the whole of Europe! Over a decade since the Jak and Daxter series originally premiered on PS2, I’m so proud to see the legacy of Naughty Dog’s work brought together for the first time ever on one Blu-ray disc.
The Jak and Daxter Trilogy brings some of your favorite J&D adventures – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II: Renegade and Jak 3 – to life like never before. Mass Media has re-mastered each installment of the collection to feature 720p high definition visuals and stereoscopic 3D support. The Jak and Daxter Trilogy also features over 100 trophies (including 3 platinum) for you to hunt down while you play through all three titles.
In addition to picking up The Jak and Daxter Trilogy at your local game retailer, from next week you’ll also be able to download the title via PSN. The Jak and Daxter Trilogy is available on PlayStation Store right now for €39.99, or you can also choose to download any of the installments from the trilogy separately for €14.99.
Be sure to grab The Jak and Daxter Trilogy today for a chance to experience the full evolution of the franchise and check out our brand new launch trailer. Enjoy!

Apologies for any confusion – the downloadable versions of the games will be available in next week’s Store update and I’ve edited the post to reflect that.

It clearly states in the post that the downloadable versions are coming next week and you have people asking “Where are they?!?” anyway. *Sigh*
I’m a bit annoyed at the exclusion of the GBP price in this post. Do Americans think everyone in the EU uses Euros? Sooner or later that currency won’t be around! A little understanding of the local terrain would be welcome!

£29.99 GBP for UK consumers

Access TV said that the HD Collection will also be coming to vita. Do you have a date for that version?

No stock ordered in where I live
Zavvi have delayed my order too! Is there something you’re not telling us? Has this been delayed again?

Ah so it does say it’s on PSN next week. Excuse me for getting over-excited. I’ll have to wait til then. I’ve no interest in disc versions of games that are made available for download.

It’d be amazing if this was to be released on Vita as well. Instant buy for me.
Any high chance that could be happening?

If it is to be released on VITA, then you should be entitled to them for free, if you purchase the PS3 digital versions! I can see me purchasing a VITA, if eventually the digital titles that you own on your PS3, cross over for free!
PS1 patch is to be released within the next 4 weeks, so hopefully you can carry your owned PS1 titles from your PS3 too

OFF TOPIC BUT VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION…….
Why do my free minis from PS+ not work on my Vita, giving me an error code of C1-2858-3, I shouldn’t have to pay my subscription to plus then extra to also use on my new 3G Vita
Hope for a reply

I think the reason there’s some confusion is because at the end of the post you’ve said that “In addition to picking up The Jak and Daxter Trilogy at your local game retailer, from next week you’ll also be able to download the title via PSN. The Jak and Daxter Trilogy is available on PlayStation Store right now for €39.99..” – so make up your mind.
Additionally, Sony needs to start learning how to treat it’s EU customers. US received this collection both in physical release and digital on the PSN store on the 7TH FEBRUARY. Now it’s the 24th, EU has only just got physical release and STILL has to wait to get the digital?!

Kind Regards

Apologies for any confusion – unfortunately Jak & Daxter is not coming to PlayStation Vita. This was simply a mistake made by the Access TV Team.

Tempted to get this at lunchtime. Please can you confirm :
1. How much in GBP will the games be individually on PSN ?
2. Does the Blu-ray feature any bonus content, such as the excellent video posted on the Blog last week ?
Posted on 24 February, 2012 at 12:54 pm by Josh Walker
These will be £11.99 individually, or £29.99 for all three. There’s no bonus content on the disc, we’ve been making this available to everyone via PlayStation.Blog!

I searched every avaiable shop in York(England) this morning, but none of them have the collection, no deliveries have arrived apparently.
I’ve desperate to play these games again

Posted on 24 February, 2012 at 2:33 pm by Catkiller1
Well, Tesco didn’t have any, although they told me they’ll put one back for me
Lucky GAME had 3 copies & the store manager said they only had 5 copies in total! GAME & Gamestation only order in bulk now if preorders are made!!
I’m glad to see that the price remained at £29.99 in-store as the Metal Gear Solid Collection was supposed to be £29.99, but in-store it was £34.99! Now wonder alot of gamers purchase online, the majority of the time!
@ JOSH WALKER
please read my POST NUMBER 27 & forward it to the relevant people, as it needs to happen

Bought the Blu-Ray this morning.
Amazing Trilogy, one thought though, give us the option to back out of each game to select a different Jak game, quitting to the xmb just to play another game on the same disc is a bit naff.
Anway, great game

Aw man! I’m not able to get to a shop the next weeks, and i’ve been waiting since tuesday to download it from PSN!!
How come you didn’t release it on PSN the 22nd as it was announced?
This makes me very sad. I’ve been checking the store every day since this tuesday

Picked it up because I never got into the games back then. One thing that instantly bugged me though, is how the camera is inversed (which kept me away from the series back then) and still can’t be put to normal.. This is especially annoying considering it’s an adventure game..

Got jak & daxter trilogy yesterday and I have to say that I own every HD collection game and jak & daxter trilogy imo is the best one yet……the gameplay beats most current gen games.

I’m not being funny, but why do us eu players get the raw end of the deal in regards to releases. The American PSN releases the digital versions the same day as the blu ray release in most cases, so why do we have to wait till the following week to be able to purchase the digital version of a game that is already out, and especially when all the shop’s where i live have no copies left of the Jak and Daxter HD collection, the digital version would have been ideal. So why wait to put it on psn instead of the day it’s released, regardless of the fact PSN EU updates every wednesday.
