By now you’ve become a badass at being a dependable teammate while taking out enemies trying to kill you in Uncharted 3 multiplayer, right? Not really? Ok, well, practice up because a new game type is coming in fiery hot to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer! Co-Op Shade Survival Mode will be available Wednesday March 14 on the PS Store. You’ll be able to tackle some of the toughest enemies in the UNCHARTED franchise with the help of your friends.
The Djinn haunt this mode as you and your friends will be assaulted by wave after wave of progressively more demanding opponents. There are eight rounds in total. The Djinn’s ability to catch fire and teleport poses a formidable challenge to team strategy and coordination. Later rounds include highly skilled Djinn sporting extra armor and firepower so get ready for a hearty battle.
Players will earn a very sizable amount of cash by playing this mode through to completion and therefore can level up more quickly when surviving the onslaught. There are new medals to earn and different round objectives may come into effect during a match. The Marked Man round objective makes its first appearance in an Arena setting as a certain Djinn will be marked and then heavily protected by other Djinn bodyguards during the match.
Standalone, this mode will cost you €5.99/£3.99. If you’re already a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club this new mode has cost you only the initial price of admission – you can download the Co-Op Shade Survival Mode for Free on Tuesday. If you’re still not a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club but want to get in on all the DLC that’s available for Uncharted 3, the FHC is the most cost effective way to do so. For €24.99/£19.99 you can become a member today and all 14 packs of DLC content will be marked free for you to download. Just click on the FHC icon to buy it via the PS Store, or grab it via the in-game Uncharted 3 store today.
As a FHC member you save over 60% on the 14 packs of Uncharted 3 DLC. Current members and any new membership purchased will receive all currently available and any upcoming DLC packs for Uncharted 3, as well as the exclusive Fortune Hunters’ Club theme for your PS3. @SyncroUK face it, I bet we’ll getting those avatars next week or in 2 weeks or never…I mean they’ve promised us to release them this week on wednesday, the official release was 2 weeks before though…and 2 days are already over from the SECOND release date and still no avatars, what’s the issue? these avatars even havent a file size of 1 MB…smh. I don’t know if I should cry or laugh..smh again

Thanks to the folks who got the new Uncharted 3 avatars fixed.
Those asking about Resident Evil ones. I’ve no interest in those myself (don’t like the games) but there’s looooads of Capcom avatars on the US store we don’t have, some of which I’d quite like on ours but maybe it’s up to Capcom rather than Sony Europe to get it done. Who knows?

Eric im sorry but most people who buy shades mode or fortune hunter members who got it free will already be unable to level up as the level cap was very dissatisfactingly easy I maxed out in november and I certainly wasn’t the only 1, players are leaving your game daily because of the level cap / lack of communication on a level cap increase , I wont play another single competitive match until the level cap is raised I waited in anticipation for uncharted 3 before it was even anounced and I was 3rd legacy level 75 with co-op star and had the platinum trophy I definitely didn’t expect that.
overall the fortune hunter club was worth it imo I only hope their is at least 4 maps in the final pack and 1 of them is Dry Docks , customization is pretty lame aswell we need a colour pallet for each item just like the emblem and definitely a level cap increase , I love Uncharted 3 but it’s getting stale now due to not being able to rank up , I still think Naughty Dog are the best devs in the world but you were even better a la uncharted 2 era , I look forward to the last of us and hope patch 1.08 contains what everybody wants level cap increase and better customization .

you know the fortune hunter club is it subscription or full time? if its subscription all the free stuff you get, will it expire, same goes with every other club, call of duty elite, etc????

Great dlc altogether although I did expect some new maps -as apposed to all the old ones getting a makeover- for co op arena..

Hi naughty dog people are saying your bringing new skins such as glowzor and platzor i think it would be cool if you could earn glowzor from fort pack and platzor for £1:00 or $1:00 please make this happen ive been trying to get the ottoman bracelet for ages now its all i need for sir francis drake! I called Sony up a long time ago about beta rewards (I should have all of them) and they told me that it is only the USA that gets them! Way to go on keeping that a secret and letting us waste our time trying to get all of the requirements.
