Welcome, welcome! What a bright, sunny week it’s been in the UK. I hope some of you have been making the most of it.
Another somewhat quiet week (now, now, this is an excuse to catch some sun) but I’m sure there’s some new additions to hold the interest of a few of you. The big retail release this week also seeing a release on the Store (on Friday) goes to EA with their release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2013.
A few additions to the Neo Geo range have been added, including The King of Fighters ’96, which I know from previous weeks has been asked about quite often.
Oh, I almost missed Arc the Lad II. Given the hype surrounding the first title I’m only certain a lot of gamers were itching for the next game. Well, here it is!
Battlefield 3 DLC has dropped. Yesterday, in fact! The new DLC allows those with a little less time to unlock some of the bonuses the easy way.
I should also mention Modern Warfare 3 Elite Drop 3 will happen tomorrow so keep an eye out for that if you are an Elite member.
Other notable DLC that you may care for is an extra episode for that there crazy game Asura’s Wrath. This is an extra episode with a more traditional animé look and the same level of madness.

I’m not sure, but, I think there’s been a lack of PlayStation Home Content, recently. I’m not complaining, but, is this just because, The PlayStation Store doesn’t display them?

And before anyone notes we got the PS Memories thing free from PS+ this month, if anyone pays for that they needs their head examined anyway. It’s barely advanced over the original picture viewer the PS3 had, and it’s certainly no where near as advanced as the variety of free picture viewers people get when they put an SD card into a PC or laptop. You can rotate pictures, and change the tones to 12 different pre-sets.
I realise not everyone has access to a PC, but that doesn’t mean you should take advantage and charge £15 just so they edit some basic photo properties. You don’t even allow text to be placed on the photos. There’s no copy and pasting, no merging, no basic editing at all. Just those 12 little pre-sets and the ability to rotate the image (not mirror it, either, just rotate)
Very poor, this should be free for everyone. It would still be largely pointless to most, but the fact it’s £15 is insulting.

hi, are you actually posting if PSP games have been updated to work on the vita?
on that matter, when are the following games, which already work on vita with their US version, made available?
- Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow
- Killzone Liberation
Lastly, why are Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron (both working with Vita) on UK store but not on German one?

Unbelievable! Two weeks and nothing of any substance for ps+ users whilst the Americans get needforspeed [Deleted]2 and shank this week ! Why is there such a huge difference in quality of content I know we got trine2 free a few weeks back but that was because of the lengthy wait we had to endure come on PlayStation Europe sort it out !!!!

…. looks like you almost got your wish …. that appears to be the price of DLC …. so in order to get the game and DLC you are looking at over 15 euros !
… come back Game … all is forgiven ! – I’d want a disk for that price rather than it taking up precious HD space.
Shame … Micromachines, Circuit Breakers and Mashed were classics, but there are cheaper options out there, especially considering it has few tracks.

Any idea why TECMO KOEI doesn’t release their DLC in NZ? They are the only publisher who neglects their NZ customers as so….
It just doesn’t make sense, if it was a major issue, wouldn’t their be more publishers not releasing here?

Hey Jawad.
I downloaded the Soul Calibur V active wear game pack form the store, i noticed it says “Download Cepheus Compatibility Pack 1 to view details and use items” so i loaded up Soul Calibur V, went to creation to download Combatibility Pack and low and behold, it says: “There is no combatibility pack to download”.
Now if a item that needs the Combatibility Pack is already up in the store but no combatibility pack is available methinks somebody has forgotten to upload something.

Regarding the soul calibur dlc. I bought it today, but theres a Cepheus Compatability Pack required to use the dlc, which isnt in the store. I presume this is just a mistake and the Cepheus pack will be added to the store asap?

I believe the DLC only shows if you have enough Fan Damacies (sic) to purchase the levels, so if you only have 2-3 Damacies nothing will show but if you have 10+ (bought or gained through play) any/all of the DLC should show.

I wont buy from Ebay because they have shoddy sellers.
These shoddy sellers sell a game £7 and say its mint when realistically its not mint. Its scratched and will not work end of.
One of the members starts telling me about releasing relevant content in the store and I have not heard of Arc the Lad 2 and as far as Im concerned its not relevant to me but may be relevant to others. I would do this if I were in your position. Look for the most heavily requested games.
Push the owners of the game to grant permission for it to be released to PSN EU store and never give up.
Then put the titles in there.
and I suggest you do that please thank you. Its been requested for 5 years straight and you still did not do anything? how will you have satisfied customers then when you dont listen to them even for 5 years and to me that is a huge dissapointment. If the EU versions cant pass QA or legal rights then release them as imports now thank you and Im sorry if I said anything harmful

Not true, I only had 9 fan damacies and all 4 dlc levels showed up. However, they are not visible on the store (Ps3 or Vita), they only show up via the games live area … just touch on the area where it says about the dlc levels.

@russelguppy The Katamari DLC shows if i click on the dashboard link saying “We Love Pacman now available” but it doesn’t show if i search for it in the store on my PS3, Vita or click on the Katamari shop on the dashboard. Surely it should be available via all these methods? I prefer to download everything on my PS3 and leave it doing it’s thing whilst i’m out or doing other things rather than having 3 platforms downloading their own content.
Also, I have 15 Fan Damacys so i can unlock any level i want and i don’t think your Fan Damacys determine the DLC you can see in the PSN Store.
The is an issue with the PSN store
PS There is also a bunch of music DLC available only when using the above method and I’ve never heard of this being release on PSN???

@Banzai777: Tecmo Koei’s the only publisher that neglects NZ? Ha, that’s a laugh. We’re missing a ton of PSP games (three Ys games, Corpse Party, two Cladun games, Prinny 2, etc) and Vagrant Story thanks to Square Enix, XSEED and NIS being total pricks and thinking we’re not worth bothering with.
As for why we don’t have the DLC, it’s because technically none of the games are released here. You’ll notice none of the new Warriors games have NZ ratings stickers on them, that’s because they’re all imported from Aus. DW Next is missing from the PSN for the same reason.
Sony lets all this happen because they’re incompetent and don’t care. Not to say Jawad doesn’t care but Sony as a company obviously doesn’t because otherwise, they’d actually try to fix it (or at least let people from other countries gift that content to us like we can on Steam).

Getting PlayMemories for free on PS Plus is very good so thank you for that. I had a quick look through it last night but will give it a full test drive later.

Please can you try your hsrdest to include file sizes, especially for PS3 Full releases. Darksiders was a whopping 10GB! I would like to download Mini Ninjas, but i’m not sure if i’ll have the space, once I download the free Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed!
Also, is there any chance of an offer for 12months subscription to PLUS? Last year they did 20% £31.99! I would prefer that alternative, than the horrible mistakes with the PLUS subscriptions that included a free game!
One last thing, where are the extra titles that were promised from the US promotion, as they had 12 free titles?

They seem to be negotiating with some publisher, hence the delay. However, I can’t understand how these negotiations are made in the last few days before update… Shouldn’t they be made in advance, weeks/months before? And also, why give us deadlines that you can’t meet?

I got the impression that the next PS Plus blog update will gives us the details of what to expect later in the month, not just what was in yesterday’s update. So with that in mind, deals really are being made weeks (not days) before they are due to land on the PSN. It could also be just one last minute deal that is holding it all up.

What you say about people accidentally logging in as someone else seems very weird and Sony should look into that.
As for kicking that other person off your friends list because they hack accounts… um, I guess you should ignore people that ask for your log-in details or send you links that ask for your details. Game-sharing (or account-sharing) would be a no-no too.

Sony has pulled two PSP titles from the PlayStation Network, reportedly over concerns that they can be used in Vita exploits. Hot Shots Tennis (called Everybody’s Tennis in Europe) and MotorStorm Arctic Rift are no longer available for download from any device that connects to the PlayStation Store.
so are the games gonna be back on like our download list or you guys just steal from users. cause if they not gonna be back for download i want my money back.

I missed Siren Blood Curse and Sly Trilogy when they were on discount a couple of weeks ago. Any chance of they coming back?
And another thing: I bought Borderlands Game of the Year edition when it was on discount last year, but I haven’t gotten the game yet, only the dlc

Can Anyone here expand on a sign in issue i had last night, i attemped signing into my (this) main ac but was told i needed to reset my password, but when i clicked ok i got a psn under maintenance page. I then tried to see if i could log in on a spare ac, which i could, no problems, But when i signed into my gf’s ac i was taken aback, as apparently on her friends list i or Someone had been logged in on my (this) main ac 60 minutes earlier, and i know i hadn’t signed in on ps3 for over 5 hours, but had been on my vita since, then tried signing into vita, again a screen saying ‘need to change password’ but another error when i tried, so i was a bit worried now thinking my main ac is somehow hijacked etc.. this started around 9pm, and luckily i regained access to my ac around 12ish.. But what happened,?.. anyone else affected ?.

I have such a bad luck, I thought Siren Blood Curse would be on sale for the rest of this spring promotion. But seems like it’s back to its original price.
Yesterday I was trying to add a virtual credit card to my account but it kept giving me errors, so I decided I’d try it today.
Guess I’ll never get to play Siren then, I’ve always been curious about the game, but I still feel like paying €30 to satisfy my curiosity is a bit too much.
