Greetings citizens!
This week’s front runner is The Walking Dead, courtesy of Telltale Games, who previously brought you the much loved Back to the Future: The Game.
Set within the same universe as the hit comic you take control of Lee Everett, a brand new character for the game. You’ll see the world of The Walking Dead from a new perspective, find out more about existing characters from the comic and see the emotional development of the various characters. With the success of the comic book and TV series, now you can experience The Walking Dead in a new light. What better timing than now, before the next season begins later in the year?
You’ll be able to get a Trial of the game (see below for locale details) as well as the complete episode. There’s also an option to purchase a Season Pass, netting you access to all 5 episodes (episodes 2-5 will release monthly) and an exclusive theme, all at a discounted rate.
Last Friday saw the digital release of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention for the Vita, so if you missed it then be sure to grab it now!
I trust football fans are all over this. Released yesterday (Trial also available), this expansion to FIFA 12 gives you the chance to take on a brand new expedition mode and take on challenges based on the real tournament. Please note, FIFA 12 game disc is required.
O the back of our announcement for an all new God of War, I’m happy to also announce a sale, aptly named The God of War Sale! The sale includes the first two HD titles, the PSP games and some little bits and bobs for other games. Check out the full list below.
And finally, PlayStation Plus members all the details can be found here.

FAQ
1. Why are Disgaea and Hyperdimension DLC not available in Scandinavian territories?
A. This was sadly a decision the publisher has made. At this time it doesn’t seem likely DLC will be available in the region.
2. Motorstorm Arctic Edge and Everybody’s Tennis for PSP for removed. Are these going to reappear on the store?
A. I believe these are back. They should also be in your download list again.
3. When will Plus members see time trials for full games?
A. We’re looking at launching on May 2nd and to include approximately 17 titles. Please see here for more details.
4. When will Skullgirls release for European territories?
A. The plan is next week, so keep an eye out for any further mutterings on this.

well was interested in The Walking Dead until I noticed the price discrepancy – in the US they are selling the game for $19.99 which is the equivalent of £12.4066 (£12.41)
£15.99 is actually $25.7681 ($25.77)
even the inclusion of US high end sales tax (10-12%) does not account for this discrepancy
so why exactly is Telltale expecting Europe to subsidise the game in the US? I realise this has been mentioned before but SCEE really needs to tell publishers that their pricing needs to be fair across all regions – not only do we usually wait longer for games but we are paying more and this seriously needs to be adressed

Not sure i liked the walking dead trial enough to get the season pass, but Will get ep1 anyway.. and God help my hdd/internet (throttled) speed, as the GoWs are getting bought.
Jawad i have an important query, i Want to buy ME2.. But i allready own cerebus pack, it IS included with the store game yes ?… So why can’t i/others in similar situs be given optoin of recieving the code (via e-mail), Then we could give, or swop allready owned content with m8s… i mean the cerebus pack still costs £12 on store.. Why should i Lose this ‘bonus’ because i allready own it… really think this is unfair…

Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention was on PSN this Friday in UK (check on PS3, but as expected would it not be released in Scandinavian or Polen)

Hello Jawad,
I’m a very recent PS Vita owner. Could you tell me if there are any rumblings as to a Vita game sale either in terms of first party or third party titles?
If a certain high street retailer continues to be a huge Rip-off I could get PSN credit off them and just wait for a game sale.

Hey Jawad, a quick question regarding PS2 classics.
I’m not demanding or expecting you to have an answer to this, but is there a possibility that Samurai Warriors 2 could be in there one day? I know some games for whatever reason cannot be put on it, but seeing as the Koei warriors games are getting a lot more attention on the Store I was hoping maybe theyd consider releasing the classics
I am considering rebuying it for PS2 but if there is any slight possibility (even if its in the very very distant future) it will appear on PSN one day I would rather wait for that.
Thanks!
Hess

Well this update sucked.
No Skullgirls? AGAIN. Seriously annoying. You don’t delay a competitive fighting game. Now everyone else has the edge while we have to wait.
I’ve had the huge urge to sell my PS3 for a 360 just so I don’t have to wait.
When are we getting games like the Darkstalker PS1 classic games?

Hey Jawad, I dont know if this is the best place to ask but as many will have noticed, when buying a lot of things on the store, like PS+ content at the start of each month, getting everything into the cart is a time consuming process, we have to go into each item, wait a few seconds for the add to cart option to activate, then clear the messages that pop up and go back to the main list where we have to wait for the ratings system to refresh before we can move the cursor/highlight.
I’ve noticed the “Triangle” button has no function in the store, can this be assigned to “Add To Cart” so we can add items quickly and easily from the main list without having to enter each one and select either buy now or add to cart? it would make life a lot easier buying multiple items.

I’m in the UK, 2pm, just checked the PS Store; There is no Dragon’s Dogma or Ninja Gaiden 3 demos on there. Many sites are saying they’re on there too. Why are you saying they’re there when they’re not? is 2pm too ‘early’ for the update? I will check again this evening. (this isn’t the first time this has happened, not impressed.)
Posted on 25 April, 2012 at 2:12 pm by James Gallagher
The Store updates later this afternoon (usually 3-5pm); we publish this post earlier in the day because our community told us that they wanted a heads-up of what is coming in each update before it goes live.

If the Everybodys Golf World Tour had 20% off, on par with the US, then I might have considered it!
With the price conversion from the US store & the 20% we should have been able to purchase it, as a PLUS member for around £12!
Please don’t give me that TAX speel, as I have purchased numerous digital titles from the US store & the TAX has been $0

I got a voucher code inside Prototype 2 yesterday for a HOME avatar but when I try to redeem it in the store it says the code is currently invalid?! Any idea when the code will go live? Thanks

Catkiller, Tax in the us is zero in some states but tax in the country is 20%. can’t blame Sony for that, but would have been nice to have a plus discount.

Still waiting for PS1 playback on the Vita, what of the major reasons for my purchase, and one of the advertised features, and said to be “Soon” after launch.
What is the hold up?

I can’t find any details anywhere.
Many Thanks.
