Access Episode 32

Whew! It’s been a hectic 7 days in the Access team. Check out what we got up to this week…

Access TV 32

If you’re into your shooters, you’re in for a treat with this week’s episode of Access TV. Show number 32 has Sniper Elite V2 rocketing into the Game of the Week slot, so expect a healthy dollop of gore to go with all the Nazi killin’. The game’s marquee feature is the brilliant x-ray cam, showcasing every burst lung and fractured brainpan in voyeuristic slow motion. Enjoy that!

Better yet, the crew were in London for the recent EA Showcase, with the publisher getting out the big guns for its upcoming 2012 line-up. There’s a look at Battlefield 3‘s latest DLC, plus interviews with the men behind mega-real shooter Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and the utterly beautiful Crysis 3. Don’t miss it.

Sticking with the shooter vibe, there’s also coverage from BAFTA as the team get a taste of short movie Ghost Recon: Alpha – which ties in to the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Look forward to interviews with both the film’s directors, and the game’s developers.

As always, there’s the usual harvest of the current news crop to check out, plus a run through the week’s best PlayStation Store content, including a look at ace 2D brawler Skullgirls, and the upcoming Game of Thrones, err… game.

Access TV is available every Friday on YouTube – head to youtube.com/playstationaccess to subscribe and never miss an episode.

2 minis games… for free!

We’re well chuffed that we reached 150,000 Likes of PlayStation Access on Facebook. So chuffed, we’re giving away a couple of minis. Pick up Jewel Keepers: Easter Island and Urbanix for zero pennies on our Facebook page now.

Access Magazine Issue 3!

Access Magazine Issue 3 went to print this week and will be rolling out to students unions, cinemas, independent high-street shops and bars across the UK as you read this. Issue 3 focusses on the theme of “Gaming Takes Over the World” and features your thoughts on why you choose to game amongst loads of other good stuff. We don’t want to spoil it, so keep your eyes open for the front cover (designed by you lot!) when you’re out and about:

That’s it for this week! Enjoy Access TV 32 (cross your legs at the end bit gents, it’s “intimately” painful) and join us on Facebook next week as we gear up for the release of Starhawk.

@DAVIE222 For myself and I’m assuming yourself this is a very viable (if not a bit of a pain in the ass to be fair) but you are forgetting there are hundreds if not thousands of people who just own a PS Vita and do not have the luxury and joy of owning both the PS Vita and PS3!!
I was on the Vita store earlier and downloaded the Frobisher Says video trailer only to find out that you couldn’t play the video that I downloaded with my Vita about a Vita game just to find it was not compatible to watch on the new shiny handheld device! *facepalm for Sony…
PS I love the Vita before anyone thinks I’m attacking it. I LOVE my new piece of Sony hardware :-)

@manutreble That’s a great idea. Sony should have done this a long time ago as many people don’t even know that Access even exists. Jump to it Sony!! :-)
